Thank you, I've been thinking about updating my kitten collection. I already have Exploding, Imploding, & Streaking. It looks like I'll add the Barking Kittens and Recipes for Disaster. I don't really see a need for the Party Pack since owning what amounts to two base sets provides enough cards to accommodate extra players if necessary.

Based on the sets you already have, You don’t need recipes for disaster unless you reeeally want the recipe cards. Just buy barking kittens and you’re done :)

Thanks for the video ! By the way, I think now, if you are a first buyer, and you like to have the max of cards for the less buck (and don't really care about artwork), the combination Recipes for Disaster + Zombie Kitten is a very good choice (I know it wasn't available when you made the video) 1) Not so expensive (around 40-45€) which is less than buying base + 4 expansions and much less than buying the 11 boxes ^^ + Legos to get bonuses cards. 2) Both have the same card backs (can be mixed). 3) There is place to keep everything in the recipes for disaster box only. 4) Almost every cards of the games, 43-50 types of different cards (depending if you count cat cards as new cards), 182 cards in total ! 5) 10 * Exploding kitten + 4 * Imploding Kitten + 8 * defuse Kit + 4 Zombie Kitten ; that's far enough to to play with more than 10 players. 6) You get 95 % of cards of every other packs. So you can you play to any other version / expansions, just ignore (few) missing cards / try to replace by another one / take other card and write somewhere "this card will do same effect than the missing card X" 7) The Zombie Kitten expansion is really cool because you can continue to play even if you lose at the beginning

Watched 3.3.2023; Thank you so much for this video. Now people like me who wants to buy exploding kittens knows what is the original and the comparisons of other version. I have the NSFW version (Not Safe For Work) because of this video I got the meaning of it hehe. Anyways God Bless you owner for showing us the cards. This video really helps. I also see the latest version which is the ZOMBIE KITTENS where as you can bring back the exploded player back to the game.

Exploding Kittens: Collection Guide Assuming you have “Recipes for disaster”, this is the unique content you’re missing: Normal/2 player/party/nsfw: •“Favor” cards The only difference between THESE packs is the total cards. Party pack supports the most players, and nsfw has different art, otherwise you don’t need all of these. Cat burglar: •”Cat burglar” squishy figurine, that let’s you steal cards This pack also has “favor” cards, so if that’s all you want, you can skip the normal, 2 player, party, and nsfw packs Streaking kittens: •“Curse of the cat butt” cards Imploding kittens: •”Cone of shame” (it has a different design than the “Recipes” version) Barking kittens: •”Barking kitten” cards (they work differently in this expansion than in the “Recipes” version) •“Tower of power” card, the physical “Tower” itself, that protects you from getting your cards stolen •”Potluck” cards Zombie kittens: •”Zombie kitten” cards •”Attack of the dead” cards •”Feed the dead” cards •”Clone” cards •”Clairvoyance” cards •”Dig deeper” cards •”Grave robber” cards •”Shuffle now” cards •4 new types of “Cat” cards •New art for ALL cards (Yeah, there’s a reason this one’s usually played as a stand-alone. Honestly, those 2 sets will add the most variety out of all the expansions. Theres only a handful of cards you’d be missing out on (like a one or two from each of the other sets), which you don’t really need unless you literally want to collect every card and gimmick.

yes. Party pack only has some cards from 1st expansion not 2 & 3. Recipes has stuff from every expansion. If you want every card, you'd have to buy all expansions separate, since Party/Recipes dont have all versions of the cards. check the official web-store for good x-mas deals

thanks for doing this. i just got zombie kittens to add to my party pack and was looking up what the party pack covered. i'ed like to point out that your party pack is different than mine as it has attack and targeted attack cards but the one i have has slap cards instead, 8 double slap and 2 triple slap. they are the same as a targeted attack card though the triple slap forces 3 turns instead of 2. these seem to only be in the party pack and it's pictured on the back of the box and the text says "and 10 new cards".

@@GLBoxingGlove something for your next vid when you add zombie kittens? i edited my post because i noticed they replaced the attack and targeted attack cards with the slap cards. they also act like a targeted attack not a normal attack since you can target "any player"

@@blinkdog4066 does your Party Pack have a different back? (red/white artsy instead of just red simple) from what I can tell, the Slap cards were part of version 1. then changed to Attack when re-printed with same backs as other sets

@@GLBoxingGlove the front looks the same but is missing the text "2 min to learn, 15 min to play". the back is red like the front but looking at boxes like yours i see on the back where there is an attack card mine has a slap card though the rest of the cards are the same also outside the 2 paragraphs of text the rest of the stuff is moved, removed, or replaced. looking on EK main page where they sell the party pack they have both covers in the pictures next tot each other.

party pack has all card as original set plus some other from expansions. If only $5, I'd get Party Pack just so you have some different cards to play with.

Recipe For Disaster has enough cards for 5 players. Plus there extra cards to play some variants, so you don't get bored playing the same deck over and over. and if you ever buy more sets, you can just add them.

I got you bro. If you buy zombie kittens you can play up to 10 players by combining. It actually advertises this on the ZK box. ZK also is a complete game by itself if you choose so it’s good value. Alternatively you can mix NSFW or another original base game to expand to 10p

I just orderd zombie kittens :) i just have one more question with the zombie kitten card does that have to replace the defuse when u play it with the other expansions or can u play with both?

@@Tomixtech you could use either or both. since once you play either card, you put the exploding kitten card back into the deck, the game will still eventually end. just remember that with Zombie Kitten, you also put the exploding kitten of the dead player brought back into the deck too.

8:15 this is actually completely wrong, the extra EK on the streaking kittens set is to make up for the streaking kitten, you may have read in the rules, it recommends, the EXACT number of EKS and players in streaking kittens

I apologize if I got some of the information wrong on why cards were in specific sets. mostly my goal of the video was to show what you got in each set, so people can decide on which to buy if they don't want to own everything or have a lot of repeated cards. Thanks for the comment.

Would buying the 2 player one and the base accommodate for some more players? I make it work with about 7 people by just not giving out a defuser at the beginning and putting the exploding kittens back in every time and shuffling the discard pile whenever the pile is large enough when someone plays a shuffle. The only downside is having to shuffle in the used cards since there are less regular cards to go around for stealing. I’m thinking the 2 player game might help that. Along with some expansions. I’m only 7 min in gonna watch the entire video so that might clear up this next question about what extensions you’d recommend but I figured I’d just add that question now since I typed this all up already haha😂( I’ll Edit this after I finish should that answer become clear by the end) thanks for your time. Now back to the video! 🍻 *18 min in and I’m leaning away from the party pack and towards all the expansions. About to see what the recipes for disaster brings to the table, looks big. **28 min in now and thank you so much for this video. I’m definitely leaning toward the recipes pack and the barking pack just for the tower of power hat. Think I might just keep recycling the exploding kittens, since the streaking and 2 player picks only add 1 more of them to the game. ***just found out about the zombie expansion, gonna check out your video now.
