Imagine keeping 5 vills in your ally's tc - can execute them any time you want, if you manage to put them there the guy is literally at your mercy

You can eject any units in your own buildings and they'll go to the set gather point. So, in theory, they could daisy-chain the villagers to something like a tower and they would never get out. But yeah that wouldn't show up on the mini-map so if they weren't paying attention could be a sneaky play.

With all the great ranged units, how would you rate the Britons in a game like this?

tbh I'd still favor mongols because of the speed and the raid potential (a player with a higher APM could constantly harass the enemy with groups of 3-4 mangudai) Besides, Britons have cheap TC's, a bonus that's irrelevant on this map I would however favor the Portuguese because of the feitorias. You can't make any extra TCs BUT you can get a HUGE eco lead if you build 4-5 feitorias

Wouldn't Britons and Spanish be another decent choice on this game mode? The Longbows with 12 range which means they could snipe from far range and be harder to spot due to that and Spanish villagers having 80hp making them sustain more, maybe with good micro monk civs could be another solid choice to avoid villagers exploding or converting some inside the enemy base. Defensively Koreans could be good due to their towers having that increased range and when garrisoned being very deadly to any potential villager rush, even Turks I guess in that regard could be good due to bombards having 13 range. Most of what I mentioned does require of course getting to Imp to get those benefits but I'm curious as to peoples thoughts on this.
