I love using the grapple spiny tech to stall point in payload and point maps that has a pillar inside of point and people would randomly walk into it so free out charge for me :) that is legitimately the most satisfying thing to do other than 5 man slams, the boop sound just sounds so good. As someone who plays a lot of ball in ranks anywhere from gold-diamond, if you just play for kills, chances are you will win. Farm mines as fast as possible and people have no idea what to do

I used to be hard stuck plat in overwatch 1, I was gold 3 in ow2, I started maining ball and now I’m diamond 2, and all I try to do is create chaos. I get flamed a lot by teammates but also have a lot of one sided games where the enemy team can’t do anything so 🤷🏽‍♂️ it’s all in good fun

Played a lot of rein and mainly sat around high plat-mid diamond, and then when I picked up ball on ow2, started getting better, and now I float in masters and even just hit gm5 on a fresh account.

Performance isn't used in normal ranked for sure, possibly they might factor it in placements since they need to find out if you belong.

The reason why no one at the low ranks comment is because they already think Ball players are brain dead and it makes sense they don't shoot. TBF most ball players in metal ranks don't have the aim or know how to slam in and follow the arc of the character to finish them off with guns.

Thag dps advice is def not true. Most of the time it's easier to kill the dps, then support and tank last. Unless the Tank is far better than the dps

Depends on the situation really, if the supports are double pocketing a dps or tank they are impossible to kill. A good support can protect their other support making it almost impossible to solo dive and kill them. Depends on how spit they are, what abilities are up and how coordinated your team is. Sometimes it's easiest to kill the tank if your flanker is distracting the supports or your anna hits an anti. It's really situation dependant.
