That was once a beautiful home. It is so sad to see the destruction from all that mold. This has to be more than 5 years of mold. Please keep your mask on until you get outside. Thank you Maureno, stay safe .
@VannyV1221 Жыл бұрын
I don't want to be negative but that mask is only going to filter out dust and maybe some mold spores but it can't filter out mycotoxins, endotoxins, aflatoxin, etc. They're so tiny it would take 0.1 microns and a person can't breathe through that tight of a weave. Please take care of yourself, maybe take a binder especially if you are feeling drunk, dizzy or have brain fog. Really cool find, just wanting to share some info. Stay safe!

12:26 The house is probably infected with "mérule", a wall fungus that does a lot of damage, very quickly, and very deep into the frames. It attacks wood, wires, plastics, cement, living tissus (toxic spores)... Everything. The brown stains are its mark, plus black mold infection ('cause serious insulation problems or humidity) on top for good measure. That's probably why the house is abandoned : it is unsaleable. With such an infestation now, it would have to be demolished, the fondations and probably the surrounding ground destroyed for several meters to be sure to eradicate the fungus... Nobody will pay the price, it can cost more of 70 000 € for a whole house, 12 000 € for one room alone to clean this crap...

@@westho7314 To be honest, a lot of these places are shared by explorers and they do things like leave current magazines to throw people off or just as a joke. I will never share a location with a KZbinr again. One of the most beautiful places I shared became over-run by explorers and the house is nothing like it was when I first discovered it. Another comment mentioned the decay could have started while original owner was there...could have...that person just couldn't handle the leaks and other problems harming the structure of his home and causing the mold. Stayed in that one nicer room...and ignored the rest.. He could have been very ill, both physically and emotionally...in part due to the ever increasing mold. I am so amazed that the photo albums were not moldy as well. Interesting story...and very sad.

Woah! I never saw an abandoned house like this one! 😲 Usually the huge decay is to see the paint or wallpapers peeling in a beautiful and artistic way, but to see a house with the walls covered with that much black mold, that's insane. Especially that it's only abandoned for 4 years, makes it more surprising 😲 almost look like a fire happened there and caused all these black stuff on the walls! And what is crazier, is the ceiling covered with mushrooms! ( i almost felt like i was smelling that yellow ceiling and i covered my nose with my shirt 😭 ) or maybe the fridge that is still full of food and drinks with no bad smell 🤔 haha insane! But what i am sure about, is that back in the days, it was such an amazing house and place to live in ❤ The blue bedroom and the piano room are my two favorite in this place! Thanks Mo for another great adventure and video. Love it 🥰 See you on the next one. Bye 😘

Hi there, Maureno. I guess most of the roof is probably ruined for it to have decayed so quickly (except for that small bedroom with maybe no damage)! At 18:55, that round wheel in the lamp would be a replica of a Steering Tiller on a Sailing Ship; very neat to see! Take care of your health with the use of an industrial style respirator mask and that seals on your face with dual filters. I wouldn’t trust the mask you were using. Keep Safe & Healthy!!!

Also, it seems like the mold didn't affect one side of the house that much. Maybe the air flow was okay in those rooms... After Hurricane Katrina and resultant flooding hit New Orleans, residents were warned NOT to open the refrigerators or freezers when they were able to return home, but to immediately seal them shut with strapping tape and put them out for special trucks to pick them up and dispose of them. It was interesting to watch this from the safety of my home, but you should not have been in there in anything less than a hazmat suit and full respirator.

Some of the rooms had such an eerie atmosphere because of the thick layers of black and white mold, - like that bedroom, which was somehow looking like a movie set of a horror movie. It reminded me of the horror movie "Silent hill". - Great explore, which was on one hand very sad to watch, but on the other hand I enjoyed following you in mind through these rooms with all the furniture and everything else covered in mold. - I especially loved seeing that once certainly elegant living room with the beautiful grand piano! - Take care and stay safe, dear friend! OMG. Just.....OMG. I feel like I need a shower after watching this video! I can't imagine the smell. There is definitely a problem here. For the kind of decay that happened here in such a short amount of time, there had to be an ongoing battle just to control the moisture in that house. Honestly, in the USA, HAZMAT would be all over that place. I hate to see homes go to ruin, but it would probably be for the best if this place was demolished for the safety of all. There must be a serious moisture problem here. Most metal surfaces are going to rust just by being in the atmosphere. I've never seen anything like it in my life. I certainly hope you didn't have any negative health effects from being in there. (I also hope you grabbed a quick shower after that one. Lol) All in all, this was one for the books, Maureno. I know I won't forget it! You had guts to go in there to begin with. You are a TRUE explorer to venture into that.
