I'm beyond ecstatic about this ride and I will legit sit in line for 8 hours if i have to ride this, I will download the Star Wars Movies and watch them in line just to keep myself busy, start a random sing along, practice my stand up, make new friends in line. As per usual your narration paints such a beautifully engaging picture.

Fancy digital effects and video displays will always be trumped by audio animatronics and practical sets! I think the majority of guests will agree.

My husband is a wheelchair user , when you ride Raise of the Resistance, could you please take note of what a wheelchair user will do ? If in fact they will have to change vehicles as rumored. And how jerky etc it would be for someone who does not have a strong core . Thanks for any feedback . We are going in Feb and we are sooooo excited !

Disneyland’s POTC is actually a couple of minutes longer than WDW’s and, last time I timed my ride (admittedly, we didn’t get Too badly stuck inside) it was 12 minutes, so yours is a BIT shorter than 16 mins....What this ride seems Most similar to was the structure of what Used to be THE STAR TREK EXPERIENCE that was open at The Las Vegas Hilton from 1996-2008 or so...a multi-stage experience on multiple levels

Our Magic Kingdom Pirates is almost literally half the ride of the FAR SUPERIOR DL version. All the classic audio-animatronic scenes are there which is great, but we've lost all of those quiet, tension building, scene setting moments.

We have a mixed-religions family, and my daughter, who is a giant STAR WARS nerd, described the staggered opening as follows...”You know how some years Hanukkah is like, Super Early, like Thanksgiving time? Well...So what’s open is like getting a Hanukkah present on, like December first and then going, “Oh yeah! I STILL HAVE Christmas presents!Cool!”
