Yes, we made it through both hurricanes ok, thankfully! Yes, the swimming pools are massive and very inviting, especially in that Dominican heat!

Superior rooms and premium suites are different. I do not believe people who book superior rooms will have access to the "Premium" level amenities, but hopefully your room will be much better than our Premium Suite.

Love your video. I need your advise recommending a good room location for a senior with mobility issues. I would prefer to be ground level and closest to nightly entertainment around the lobby/bar. What building would yo suggest...Thank You

All buildings have elevators so floor should not be a huge concern, but we'd recommend block 3 for proximity to the lobby bars. Thanks so much for watching.

I wish I could just give you the name of one store, but I get them from all sorts of places... mostly thrift stores and discount stores like Marshall's, Ross, etc...

Do you have any resorts in Punta Cana that you would recommend. I always wanted to go. My neighbor wasns't hyped about Punta Cana. I'll take that with a grain of salt, since they recommended Jamaica.

We've been to a total of 6. We'd recommend different ones to different people, all depending on what you prioritize. Perhaps the best values for the money was the Premier Suite at Occidental Punta Cana. Our overall favorite was probably Lopesan Unique level, but that one was a bit pricey.

Food at the resorts can make or break the stay. How is it at Occidental Caribe?

You're right. We are not picky eaters so we were always able to find something we at lest somewhat enjoyed. But overall, we would say the food was by far the worst of the 6 Punta Cana resorts we've visited.

Thank you😊😊 for mentioning Hurricane Helene affecting people's lives/ homes. It did not affect me, being in Vegas- but it sure did for those in the SouthEast up through OH/ IN... Very caring & thoughtful.
