Explore an Abandoned Tunnel at Big Spring! PA State Park Series

This tunnel was started and never finished. Find out why! Also there is a garter snake attack.... 😳. This is my 71st Pennsylvania State Park that I've been to out of 124. Mad props to @PennsylvaniaDCNR for maintaining these beautiful parks!

Way more impressive than I expected and sheds perspective on what a year’s worth of work and blasting took particularly with very hard rock standing in your way! Expect to hear from that snake’s lawyer soon for aggressively violating its personal space repeatedly. Straight to jail.

I stepped off 100 feet to see how far you went in that tunnel. Quite a bit. Great find. When you were getting coordinates on your phone on top of shower steps, we're you on line? Is there a way to get them on a phone when off line? Thanks for any help.

I mapped the coordinates to Google Maps. Then downloaded the map offline. GPS relies on satellite, not data? I think.... That's where it becomes sorcery to me!
