Keta has one of the cleanest beach 🏝 in Ghana 🇬🇭. Predominantly fishermen and farmers and very educated people with great respect for ewe values , traditions and culture. My maternal grandparents home so that makes me half Anlo as most people speedily claim lol. We inherit patrilineal so am from Vane-Avatime. The mountain people if permitted to say with a different dialect. I’d always wish they keep this beach super clean to maintain its serenity. Nice 👍🏿 video through the lens of Jasmine Ama. Keep doing great things and bringing us more videos.

I have this other version of the Alcohol story about the Ewe tribe. It was told that a competition was arranged between some people from the Ewe tribe and some other tribespeople in Ghana to put to rest which tribe is really the champion drinker of alcohol. The completion was to be held in the domain of this other tribespeople. This other tribe sat and waited for the people from the Ewe tribe to arrive for the start of the competition. The Ewe tribespeople first sent a messenger to the other tribe to come and test the quality of the drink. This messenger shocked the other tribespeople thereby gathered by consuming a large quantity of the Alcohol just for the test. The messenger was asked if he was part of the people coming to take part in the competition. The Ewe man answered that he is a novice in consuming alcohol as compared to the men coming. These other tribespeople instantly called off the competition as they cannot even stand the guy who was sent to test the quality of the drink. Well that’s how the Ewe tribesmen retained their title to this day. These stories have become myths and no one knows if the above narrative really took place.

Thanks for that, Frank. Ask any older Jamaican from Kingston about Fada Forsythe vs Battling Johnny in the mango-eating contest and you'll hear a similar story. The gist of it-- Battling Johnny was running late and on his way he saw a man with a wheelbarrow full of mango seeds and skins. When he inquired he was told that "There is this mad man named Fada Forsythe up the road there claiming that he's preparing for a contest with somebody, and he ate all these while warming up!" Of course, the man forfeited and turned back. LOL.
