Whoa. Julianne, you nailed this interview! It is so sweet to see you, Julianne, share, in your sweet way, your family, music and history. And yes, Emmet is PHENOMENAL! Each of you have grown greatly on your instruments through the years as well. The arrangements, the selection of songs and the varied vocal styles of each of you adds such richness to your music. And I greatly enjoy the originals as well!!!

Julianne, what a really terrific job with this interview and explaining so well how my favorite band is creating bonds between people worldwide. I'm so proud that over 200 million people have now discovered The Petersens in such a short time, and now know what we have known all along. Your live and genuine talent is something really special and rare today, with terrific original songs and covers across different genre and better than the originals. This band is THE BEST!

"and forced us to start practicing"...that's what the world needs today... young people need to be "forced" to learn something, they're not prepared to make decisions... that's why we have this kind of lost generation... if my father hadn't made me go to school, I probably wouldn't have graduated... when we're kids we just want to do things we like and good parents need to show their children not only what's good, but what's necessary...

I have seen them live many many times and you are going to enjoy it. Unfortunately you will miss out on Ellen being there but you still will have a great time. Make sure to stick around after the show as they should be doing a meet and greet afterwards as long as the venue allows it. Òran Mór looks amazing and I cannot wait to be check out their show there.

@@greggilbert5685 oh lucky you but I feel so lucky to be seeing them at all. Never thought it would happen and getting so excited. Disappointed that Ellen won’t be there as she is a fantastic singer & banjo player. Discovered the Petersens during Covid and have watched them ever since totally hooked! Hope they sing California in my Mind and get a few solos from Emmett.

I think there are two parts of success - first is music and arranges, it's phenomenal. Second is the old good world. It's something fresh and yet so old in this oversexualized drugged world - family playing together, girls not looking and acting like whores, no tattoos, no living just becouse of "fun" on drugs and alcohol. The world moved from "Beverly hills 90210" to "Breaking Bad" so quickly...and the american dream is in ruins. There are many people here silently waiting for restoration of old manners - time when people were not mocked for interests, education, being humble, polite or having goals.

I wish just once someone would ask Julianne where she got her style of singing. I’ve never heard anything quite like it, and no one else in the family is similar at all. So where did it come from? When she sings, is that what naturally comes out, or is she TRYING to sing like that? It doesn’t sound like natural singing.

Dolores O'Riordan
@major__kong8 ай бұрын
Also go to The Charismatic Voice. Search for her analysis of Zombie and go to the comments section. Dolores' style in that song has been described as Irish keening or Sean-nos. I wouldn't say Julianne uses that style as intensely as Dolores, but there are certainly elements. Whether she used Dolores as inspiration or not I don't know. But people often think of Dolores when they hear Julianne.
