Driving through Georgetown on M Street is as close to Hell as you can get without being dead.

I ❤ Georgetown. I ride my bike there on capital crescent trail. Historic place , Georgetown university , lots of good restaurants, best place for Halloween 🎃 party , lots of shops , coffee shops , clothings , Only negative thing is the homeless people , sad 😞,,, some died in last cold winter 🥶… Also they have big rat 🐀 problem bcz lots of restaurants there … ❤❤❤

Cafe Milano is nice , Also that Martin Tavern I was there … Lots of history , Some of those alleys are from slavery period when they used to bring black slaves from Virginia and make them march to DC to sell them …😮 Yes history is not all great 😮

Georgetown is overrated. Can't understand why tourists and locals flock here. Nothing but boring shops and restaurants with congested roads and horrendous traffic with not enough free parking.

Unfortunately African American crime is out of control in DC. DC also has one of the highest rates of hate crimes in the country.
