Explore Lovers Key, Dog Beach, and New Pass in Fort Myers

Beautiful southwest Florida, 6 months after Hurricane Ian hit. It's still a boater's paradise but some sand bars have definitely shifted and I see a new wash out on Big Hickory Island.

Thank you for the video of Big Hickory. That is the beach park for Pelican Landing. We have been working hard to get the island back in shape for our residents and guests. It was a great beach park and will be again. The breach in the south end of the island will be filled in soon as the rest of the beach is restored. Thank you i will pass this video along to some friends who can view it better than seeing it from our boat.

Where can you launch from with Lovers Key and Wiggins launch closed? Is the Imperial River launch open? Wondering what kind of debris is still in the water along the river.

Salty Sam's Marina has ramp. Closest I know to Lovers Key and Fort Myers Beach.
