I've just found your channel and what a breath of fresh air with a very informative presentation. I'm a Queenslander who has lived in Melbourne for too long, I won't say how long but they kept making offers I couldn't refuse. I've watched a few Brit and USA videos on the MF895 but nothing beats an Aussie talking to an Aussie. I have owned a Riv M400 in the past and my objective now is not to buy the biggest boat I can afford but to buy the smallest boat that does everything I want it to do. The MF895 is my optimum boat for a couple to cruise Moreton Bay and go up the coast to the Great Sandy Strait now and then. Thanks ... I have subscribed.

Thanks Rob. It is true, get the boat that does what you want not the biggest. I think the 895 is great, easy to manage yet 600mm draft. Handy for the sandy bottom around here. Join the SE Qld Jeanneau Merry Fisher Facebook group for more MFers!!

I really like to Series 2 but I still have about 5 years before buying as my retirement gift to myself so maybe they'll have a Series 3 by then. Loved the walk through!

Thanks Doug, who knows what model they'll be up to by then. Thanks for the comments.

Thank you both for this video (I've been waiting for)! I watched some other videos about Merry Fisher Series 2, but I also watched some of yours videos about previous versions 895 and 795, so I enjoyed how detailed your walk-throughs are. You showed us all the details, not just some big and obvious. I'm looking forward for your review on water!

Hey guys, thanks for another great video. Quick question - where is the inverter located in Antoinette ? I have a 2018 MF895 and I am buggered if I can find it in mine !?!?!

Antoinette is 2018 as well but we do NOT have an inverter. If we did have one I think it would be with hot water system and battery charger. Not sure if that helps.

Hi, we fitted out inverter in the lazzarette and the controller in the same housing as the battery switches. It power the hot water in the 15 minutes it takes as we drive to an anchorage. T
