Explore The Shallow Wrecks In Butler Bay (Part 2 of 3: Shipwreck Scuba Diving St. Croix)

Butler Bay on the west end of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands is home to world-class shipwreck scuba diving. The most accessible dive site known as the shallow wrecks consists of three separate and distinct shipwrecks along with a section of a decommissioned underwater habitat called the Aegir habitat and 5 Hess Oil trucks. The shipwrecks include the Northwind, a 75-foot-long tug, the Suffolk Maid, a 144-foot North Sea trawler, and a 300-foot oil barge called the Virgin Islanders.
Join us as we make the 300 yard swim from shore out to the dive site, and narrate our entire dive from underwater.

We agree Carl, St. Croix is a great destination for divers who want to dive year round and their home sites are too cold/frozen in the winter. The wrecks are a great site which can be accessed from shore or boat, as are many sites. The Frederiksted Pier is an awesome day and night shore dive. The diving here is very diverse so dive groups will be able to experience quite a variety.

Have watched all the videos. My favorite by far is part 2 of 3, the shallow wrecks in Butler Bay. I really wanted to get into the last wreck! So much sea life to see. Can't wait for page 3!

Bowline is really not a great knot in an application that will go in and out of tension... they work loose
