Hello Bobby and Amanda, Bobby seems disinterested being in Italy, but as a subscriber to all of your channels mainly in Sailing Doodles I think this type of travelling specially in Europe will become my favourite just a bit tired of the bikinis and pointless sailing, this new stuff is great, more please...who agrees?

Salaries in Italy are very low, however the culture is all about the family, and the family will own many small houses, apartments and holiday homes. So it's very normal for Italians in the 20's, and 30's to not own their home and not even rent it, but just be staying in an apartment that someone in their family owns. Also it's normal for many Italians to live at home with their parents until they are in their 30's. I would recommend that you don't just go to the most tourist restaurant, but walk around the town and find a place that looks nice and has plenty of locals in it, then the food will be amazing and the price will be lower than the tourist places. And walking around town in the evening and going into a few cafes and bars is a relaxing way to spend the evening in an Italian town, better than going back to your camper van and watching a movie, you will get to see the culture of the place.

Very low..it depends... Most Italians own the house they live, most Italians hv plenty of savings, my son at 27 has bought his first house( bright new one)...and we all have normal jobs!

Just to be precise, it is true that salaries on average are low but italians have 9.000 bln euro wealth of which 4.000 are in cash/stocks/bonds and 5.000 in real estate properties.

Italy is our favourite country in the world. They have an eye for beauty: houses, villages, food, wine, fast cars….You should go to a village and go to a restaurant where there are only Italians! Authentic food and wine. Try lemon cello dessert wine. 12 euros each for 3 courses with wine! Go to the hill villages in Tuscany. Best ever Glamping Doodles.

A New Malibu or Mastercraft are $129,000. In 2008 I bought a 1992 Malibu for around $8,500. I repowered it last year for $13,000. The powerplant should last another 30 years. I'm way ahead of the game. I would not even think of financing a ski boat like a house. What are people thinking? Haha! Italy looks great. Let me know when you come to Napa, CA. Europeans typically get one month of paid vacation to use every summer. The campgrounds in southern Europe are built to cater to campers who are staying put at that location for two to four weeks (as opposed to the North American-style of cruising around in camper vans)

I thought the sandals went perfectly well with that pretty dress, Amanda! I've been to a lot of different places over in Europe, but never Italy yet. There is an activity a couple can both take part in, usually in bed but not always, that if done correctly can assist both with falling a sleep much easier, especially if they have jet lag...which I'm pretty sure you both have already found out. 😘

In the states one of the main reasons I gave up RVing was because of barking dogs, mainly wanting attention. It ruined the experience. Really like the music on this video. Very nice campgrounds, though a bit tight. Cheers!

I have been to Italy several times. It's not that Italians can't afford wake boats, etc. There is no point in having them as those activities are banned due to the destruction of shorelines. I have been on Italian lakes where PWCs are allowed only in specific lanes and are speed-restricted. Italians have just made a decision about what is important to them and what is not.
