Luxurious car! I would drive such a tank all over Siberia, Yakutia, the Far East and the Arctic, where there are no people and minimal civilization for thousands of kilometers ... only our Sherpas pass there, but this is a different type of transport. Good luck guys!

Im a huge fan of Explore life , Trip in a van, Patriot Games, All for adventure, Y.B.S , and Ronny Dahl, I've also been doing my own research on my build of the 79 I'm very close Its Just so many to choose from now Creative Conversations and B.A , I'm on The Gold Coast, My wife and I have spent the last 5 years travelling over seas and now with all that's going on we both have decided to travel around Australia, I like the 79 and the 200 , I'm on the fence on what caravan the Sunseeker or brudha anyway I've been looking reading reviews and Blogs really hard to decide it's Going to happen and It'll be definitely best of the best learning so much from you so thanks.

Bruder mate for sure, real nice bits of kit. Organise the build your self mate - I did with my 79 and it gives you a sense of pride at the end. It’s real easy to organise and your close to all the suppliers and Jmacx. Look up ARB Caloundra they are just down the road from Jmacx and are a pleasure to deal with 👍

Absolutely mint rig and canopy!! Only thing I would change would be to have an Australian made RTT and awening. Boss Alluminium have a mint RTT with a more rigid awening especially when beach camping in the wind. And maybe a Supapeg awening which you can lower parts of the awening hight pending on rain and sun angle but other then that its a mint set up. Well done

Awesome build mate, love that you kept it practical where possible, well thought out and like you since the Black truck did its first run my thoughts haven’t changed since then and you kept that concept that was done right back then real now. One thing I would do that mentioned in last vid, I have Recaro in a few of my JDM legends cars and always love em, but someone convinced me a few years back on Stratos and having had many injuries in off road racing, back injuries etc, this is a must for all day driving imo and esp if you gojng all around Aussie, like some of the things you have done in your build, you don’t know how much of a difference it makes until you have em. Function over for. and name brand, I wouldn’t have anything else for my off road builds. Also has lumbar pump up support done right. Been a great series to follow, look forward to seeing you get it out and around Strayla this year🤙

Mate I’ve just finished a 2020 79 build, put a Stratos suspension seat in with dual arm rests and lumber support. Would you believe the inside arm rest misses the DOI centre console by 10mm and the door side arm rest misses the Onestone arm rest by the same amount 👍👍😎 Very is impressed. Had the same seats in my Patrol for over 15 years - best you can get period 👍😎

Congrats she’s a beauty of a rig! Got a couple questions; 1. Why’d you change the rear locker out to an arb air one? Does the factory one not go with that jmax diff? 2. All the best for ya trip

I got caught up in the whole 79 euphoria thingo but my decision to go buy something else came after I had reached a grand total of $240k on my list of changes and I hadn’t quite finished !! I thought that it was a bullshit number to be spending on a 4x4 and ditched the idea. I now have a new auto ute with everything I wanted and the total build was $120k. It drives way better than the 79 tank, has been extremely reliable, and is far more economical. Win, win and I couldn’t be happier……but hey, at the end of the day it’s whatever floats your boat……. Toyota seriously need to pull their finger out though because the old tank is showing it’s age and the remedies add up to one huge number for those of us that aren’t sponsored.
