Its so interesting that Timor is basically the basement domain of Paradon. Greatn job as usual sir.

Thanks Jason! In a way, it is strange to do Timor first, it would be easier to cover it after Paridon. But the mist way from Dominia took us here, so let's explore these tunnels!

I just caught back up to the Hour of the Raven. Excellent stuff. I’ve been falling in and out d&d over some various drama that doesn’t lead to cool dread proposals. And then I finally caught a notification for your videos again, and remembered my favorite setting in d&d. Even though your work has likely not been as lucrative as you deserve, the chance to experience your videos means a lot to me. Thank you.

Thanks! It's not really that lucrative, but the channel is a passion project of mine. Glad I could bring back a little of the mists of the demiplane of dread to you.

Timor's Tunnels reminds me of the New Londo Ruins from Dark Souls. Only, without the ghosts, but very different horrors. And the Sewers are the Depths.
@HouroftheRaven9 ай бұрын
Indeed. The New Londo Ruins has a creepy atmosphere that could work well with Timor!

Yea! Timon. I always thought Nosos should have been part of the cluster and Staunton Bluffs.as well
@docnecrotic9 ай бұрын
Hmmm, part of me wishes I included Staunton Bluffs in my Broken Cog Cluster, but I could never figure out how to make it work.
@HouroftheRaven9 ай бұрын
Indeed. I think I saw in a netbook an idea to merge Nossos with Timor and Paridon. Can't remember where I read this.
@brianpratt32249 ай бұрын
Maybe I did see it too. It could be where I got the idea. Can't remember though@@HouroftheRaven

@@brianpratt3224 I did some research here, and I have seen this idea on the Ravenloft Reincarnated, an adaptation of Ravenloft to the Savage World setting. There they gathered Timor, Paridon, and Nossos in the Shining Bay cluster.
@brianpratt32249 ай бұрын
That does sound familiar. I know there was a time where I was searching for anything Ravenloft. I bet I saw that. Sticking those together does make sense. I bet I saw that and that is where I got that idea. @@HouroftheRaven

Man, how many times are we going to get captured?! I wish the new Ravenloft book had been filled with these smaller domains that didn't get fleshed out in the original run of books. I like this idea of twin domains that are liked but never really touch. Having a whole domain as a series of tunnels and warrens is an interesting idea. You could easily have everything get weirder as the PCs descend, pulling from metro 2033 and films like C.H.U.D.s to journey to the center of the Earth or The Descend. Excellent work good sir. I always enjoy your videos
@HouroftheRaven9 ай бұрын
Thanks! Good references to inspire Timor adventure as well. The adventurer should be convinced to explore Timor, and I couldn't find a good reason to delve into the dangerous unexplored darkness of their own free will, so here we are, captured once more!

Part of me misses the Pre-Conjunction version of Timor. But hey, it completes the Thief Trilogy pastiches I've run with Zherisia, complete with nightmarish city of the ancients. That said, I'm still curious why you skipped over Markovia.
@HouroftheRaven9 ай бұрын
Pre-Conjunction Timor has great ideas and potential for adventures. I haven't played Thief, but I think I should give it a try, I received a lot of great recommendations about it. Don't worry, we still are going to Markovia, it is just a little side adventure.
@docnecrotic9 ай бұрын
@@HouroftheRaven All good. It would be cool for people to develop Old Timor more. Also, stick to the original trilogy for Thief, especially the active modding scene.
