More options, less cost, better ride, and looks great. It makes a whole lot of sense to make the move to 20's. I will be using the same tire, except going to use a 9 or 9.5 inch rim in hopes for a little curb protection for the wife if you know what I mean 😁 Discount Tire is a great company with high standards and they ONLY do tires, for now anyway!!

I completely agree it was the smart move for sure! And exactly all for the curb protection 😅

Looks dope. Any rub! I’m surprised the plus 30 doesn’t sit out of the wheel wall. If you could do a custom offset would you still choose +30? I’m looking at getting custom 20” made and unsure of what offset to go with… one more question how is the wear and tear running that setup, does it have the same circumstances as the OEM 21”

+30 is the perfect flush offset for the explorer. I don’t rub at all. Making sure your alignment is good is the biggest thing. And the benefits of going to a 20 is you actually get a lot better tire options and more side wall.

What size tires are those? Do you use spacers?
@HoustonSpeedFreaks Жыл бұрын
295/45/20 and no sir no spacers these are 20x10s with a +30 offset

They are very impressive looking. I had to re watch the video a few times lol. I know you said the size in the beginning of the video, lol. Very cool. I just bought the same color ST you have. Looking at tires now. I just came across your page. A lot of cool stuff.

I have a question for you. If you don't mind answering if you know. You seem to have a lot of knowledge on these suvs. All I can find for that TSW launch wheel is a 20x10 with a 25mm offset. I know velgan has the V2 with 30mm offset. But I'm trying to save some money. Do you think if I went with the 25mm offset it would sit in a little bit and not flush with the fender?? I don't like the idea of spacer either. Thanks for your help.

@wh876 I’m sorry, I meant to say my offset is 25. Those are the runs I’m running. The Lower the number the more the wheel pokes out the higher the bumper the more it sticks in. Hope that makes sense and sorry for my mistake 😅

Lol, thanks for the quick response. I was like I must be losing it, can't find the rim. Last question I promise, lol. With that setup you have and tires do you notice any rubbing at all even with the lowering springs?
