Already had to get a new rear axle at 11k miles. Wasn’t that bad 🤣 0:42 but still had to get it taken care of

Planing on getting a new explorer st in the near future. I never keep anything stock. Was wondering what your opinion would be on modifications. To be more specific most power but still reliable. Tuner, inter cooler, down pipe, exhaust, cai, suspension upgrades, new wheels and tires. Would you add anything more things you wouldn’t get. I also live in Canada so cold winters so maybe some parts wouldn’t be a good idea.

Have you had to replace your rdu yet? I have a 21 ST, stock tune and am on my 3rd. I had Steeda rear subframe bushings, front pinion bushings and rdu brace on my original rdu and after about 3000 miles it was clunking a lot. Now with this 3rd rdu, I don't have any of the steeda parts in it so it would be covered under warranty

I have not had to replace my rear differential yet. I have had no issues out of it. I have seen people have issues especially recently with the steeda front pinion bushings.

@HoustonSpeedFreaks yeah I think I'll go back to my AWR rdu brace and put the steeda rear subframe spacers back in and call it good. Thanks for the reply

Are the rear wheels adjustable for alignment seems mine have a bit of negative camber in the rear compared to the fronts or is that how it's manufactured?

You’re not lying, but to be fair is I wasn’t completely sure how to take the axle out of the explorer. I figured it would be like most cars but on the explorer it’s easier just to take the whole hub off.
