The Wagner intercooler was developed from the ground up for the 3.0 PHEV in Europe. This model features a detuned ST engine with 360 horsepower, combined with an electric motor for a total system output of 459 horsepower. The installation is different from the standard procedure because the additional battery cooling in the lower area prevents the use of conventional mounts like those found in the CVFab system. Instead, the intercooler is secured directly to the frame using rivets.

Crazy how tiny these factory intercoolers are. Ford definitely has to go back to the drawing board for the next gen ST. Hopefully they will give us a V8 option down the road

Another banger as usual. Hey I’ve watched multiple of these and haven’t found where you say what size drill bit for drilling out the bottom rivets on 2021+ models? What size?

Thank you brother 🙏😁 I don’t use a specific size just the size of the rivet I mostly use a 5/8ths drill bit

Are the Wagner or CVfab intercooler able to be installed on the 2025? I see you guys did the Thermal exhaust and there was no issue.

Hey bud! Does either brand of intercooler perform about the same? have you noticed any real difference in numbers. I'm out in the corpus area and just bought myself a ST and I'm looking to make some upgrades already.

Honestly their is not a huge difference bewteen the brands as far as performance it’s very minimal
