Thank you for being open about your depression and for using your platform to help fight the stigma of mental health issues. Depression gets to a lot of good people. Remember you are loved and you make a difference in people's lives. Personally in mine, I just recently found your channel. I've been laid up in bed for about a week now in pain. I battle depression myself and your videos have helped me escape the confines of my bed and you take to these abandoned buildings with you. Thank-you for that. There is always better days to come. I'm waiting on mine. Until then, I have your videos to help me through and if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you as I am sure many of your fans are. Love you to.

The walls look like they are made from “wattle and daub”. (Cow dung and straw) At a guess I think it would have been built in the 1600’s my daughter lives in an a farmhouse that was built in and around the same century and some of walls are made from wattle and daub. The walls are extremely thick as were built to last, even more though Mother Nature has taken over. Brilliant explore!

Wow what a cool place. If those walls could talk, I wonder what stories they would share. So difficult to put a date on when the place was built. I know there was a small movement in the 70's to go back to the naturalistic building materials (thatch, with mud and straw daubing). The main beam holding that house up is massive. It is even possible it could date back to the 1700s or earlier if kept patched and the roof re-thatched it could last hundreds of years.

This was a very good find. You really were able to capture a sad history of the people who lived there. So many explorations, while they can be sad, give no real feel for the last inhabitants. You were able to convey a history and capture the struggles many people go through in life. Good job. Be careful, wear respirators and consider work boots to protect from nails etc.

What a shame. If taken care of this house is a historical monument. It’s shameful the local government didn’t step in to keep it intact. Love your channel just wish sometimes you would show more of the architect and woodwork, etc.. This house doesn’t have much, I’m talking about that house that had all the four poster beds. I’m not criticizing, just sad. In US you just don’t see this sort of thing-maybe in the original colonies.. I feel grateful to see my ancestral country. My heritage through your videos. Priceless. Born in US but belong to England. As a small child, like before age 7 I use to dream of England, yet no one in my family ever talked about England. Love what you are doing.
