Cher from CT USA here. Stumbled onto your channel a couple of weeks ago. It baffles my mind that there are so many homes just left to rot with furnishings in them??? I get that people are just people every family/person has a story., I just wonder how many are sad, dysfunctional, or just plain horrid. You never know. I do know one thing, those who loot the places have serious respect/ boundary issues, and take energy with them that doesnt belong to them... and messes with theirs... just a thought

Wow, as usual you did not disappoint. That was a huge home and it's so sad that it is in the state it's in. More than likely the cost of up keep and fixing damages was just too costly. Putting it up for sale more than likely wouldn't get as much money. So as you said in the video they are probably sitting on it until they get what they think is the right amount. The least they could do is store all those precious items, in a proper storage unit. I have to say I absolutely love seeing you and Mark together. I get so tickled watching you guys banter back and forth, two peas in a pod. Hope you are having a blast on your road trip and getting all kinds of good filming in. Be safe out there!💜💜

Great video as usual, so lovely to see Mark again. Crying shame to see a beautiful house go to ruin like that and who ever trashed it should be ashamed. Sad that the children took their inheritance and left but we don’t know what went on within the family and maybe all was not good. I hate to see the personal possessions just scattered on the floor. I would think that if the parents, grandparents had a happy life there for the most part it’s probably their spirits in the home, let’s hope it’s just residual re playing and not them upset at the condition the house is now in. Stay safe, love and healing for Holly. 🙏🏻

Look, I have a home here in the USA. If I found that I had property in England, I would not want to move or fix up a property in that state even. If I was there, I would find this place and move in and fix it up. Wish I would have known about it 20 years ago when I lived in England. Probably wasn't empty then. The relatives probably have homes here and that is all they need. They are comfortable where they are. IF you didn't fix it up yourself, it would cost a lot we are talking 6 figures here. All new pipes and wiring. I am redoing my childhood home and will cost me $20,000. over the next 5 years doing it myself with a few relatives.

Yeah I think everyone has the same thinking. When you live you life or a good portion of your life in a place , with all the memories, keepsakes, photos it's like a whole part of who you were is left there when you get ill and put in a home for the old people. No one comes and cares, for the special things that life meant to you, just to soon forgotten. Many cultures like the day of the dead in mexico it's all about remembering the ones departed, I have heard even of some tribe like people take the body out of the box your in to sit and take and remember that person. I have watched many years of ghost and paranormal shows and came up with the theory that if when someone passes the least people that remember you when you were alive, the harder it is to have peace on the other side,, Everyone should reach out to touch people's lives now, to laugh when groups are together, Don't be afraid to say goodmorning to someone that looks like they need a cheering up with a hello. Most of all I think it's very important to pray for them,, don't stop speaking to our family and friends when they go,, There still around I believe,, I have even got answers to questions from my mom when I talked to here,, not out loud, just an answer pops in my head so quickly I make ya thing , well maybe, sure it's her. Thanks for the video guys,, Stay safe .

Love what you do and I love the history encapsulated in these homes. Keep up the good work! I do have one issue with most people who film abandoned homes though: it is not a format to attempt to introduce "scary, creepy stuff". None of it has ever been scary. Not creepy. It is a bad selling point. It is however, FASCINATING! I wish people would stop with the whole " creepy" themes. Having said that, I love your locations and your filming.
