I have an 88 brick nose F250 4×4 7.3 IDI 5 speed 4:10 gears nasty 33×11.50 mud tires lifted 2" home made radius arm traction bars extended cab flatbed with 2 1/2" chrome stacks brown on tan w nearly perfect interior. The dual mass clutch went out in it around 5-6 years ago. I have a new flywheel clutch and pressure plate. I just have to get it installed. And I need a Dana Spicer rear-end bad. The junk Ford rear-end is a piece. The yolk slips on the pinion shaft and I had to shim the U joint. And the carrier bearing is effed in the A. Other than that stuff the truck is just awesome. I've dragged so much crap and vehicles through the mud. It's a beast. But it don't go much past 65-70 mph before the governor kicks in. But it bellers two fat columns of black smoke 40 feet in the air while racking your eardrums at 65. It still can't out pipe my old 4door with the 6.9 though. GOD bless you and may he bring healing to your back brother!

Find a yard and take a trip one day. Even if you drive 5 hours each way, you'll save so much versus buying piece by piece new or used online. I'm planning on making my 4 acres a little bullnose yard. Have a junkyard less then a mile from my place, but I hurt my back last year and haven't been able to do anything. I have an 81shortbed I drove in highschool 20+ years ago sitting in pieces in my garage.

@@lariat8653 That is awesome. These old bullnoses are becoming more and more popular. My sons all want bullnoses too. My Dad bought mine in 93, cab caught fire Christmas day in 96 so we put the cab off my Grandpa's 81 xlt lariat ranger on it. Dad gave me the truck in 99 and me and Grandpa rebuilt the motor and I drove it my senior year. It's been sitting since 2002 and was taken apart by my little brother. Me and my three sons are putting it back together. 4 generations have turned wrenches on that ole bullnose. Cool to see you and your your family loving these trucks too.

@@offhandacoustic cool story and nice to see it’s been a family project for generations. Mine is a 86 XLT Lariat and my father in law gave his 80 F100 Custom Cab to my son just before he passed. He had owned it since the 80’s. My son bought a 84 for a parts truck the guy he got it from thought it was about to give up but he tinkered with it and rebuilt the carb and now it’s a great patina truck. He’s been restoring the 80 for 4 years now and is putting it back original.

It's very interesting to see my whole life through the eyes of someone else. The Junkyard is just our home. It was my childhood and now my children's and our everyday life. My Daddy's Legacy and one day, ours. You took the mundane and showcased it to be extraordinary. I absolutely LOVE this and I can tell you without a doubt that my Daddy ‐ aka Your Friend Henry - would've have been pure tickled with this video. I can just hear him telling everyone that stopped by to go check it out. He would've been so proud that someone else saw the same beauty he saw in his junk. Thank you for this. My family, and our Junkyard family will treasure it always! Come back and see us anytime.. and maybe buy a thing or two 😉 On another note.. there aren't any of our regulars that didn't hear the story of the crazy fool that climbed and got the tag down 😂😂 He told it often and laughed hard every time 😂😂

Was that my property.... only a rich rich man like Trump or something..... I would start at the very back carefully emptying all trash but miscellaneous parts would go in proper places, cut every tree an bush down and start organizing it in years and types. Power wash everything as well and get most of the rats and such out of them. All the trees big enough would be milled for truck a n car barns.... open beam so sunshine didn't hit down so hard on it or snow get on them. I really liked the open sides of some of those vans and might just carry on with the theme of it. Parts would get sorted out an some of the stuff so doubled up would be sold like good stainless thats so hard to find. Keep prices really low an sell as much as possible unless I found it going to wrecking yard.. then they would be banned permanently. I would drive a lot of it to exercise it and get kinks out. I would make testimonies to this mans credits as well. Everything would have a price within reason unless I took person fancy then it would be held a while.
