As some one who owns a '72 F250 in New England, this yard is unbelievable! That sheet metal is awesome! Inner fender wells, radiator supports and solid cab floors in a salvage yard! Wow!

Edlebrock sold alot of carbs! I see them everywhere. I admit I bought one myself. It was a good carb for what I needed for at that time. Today I would go Holley type carb.

Many pleasant memories there. Some look like ones I owned including some chevys. I used them all but my own rig was always a ford. I drove my chevy to the parts store one day cause ford was busy. I had covered the chevy emblem with a blue oval and so this guys see's my truck and he says; Wow what a nice looking Ford!! What year is it and do you know of any more? Just laugh and tell the truth. He really didn't believe me as he could see the oval and thought I was putting him off.

Thanks for the business name address & number, just put it into my phone to call them tomorrow. I have a mint 85 F250 single cab long bed 4x4 with a 460. I been searching for a tailgate for years, there’s no place in the state of Louisiana that has any fords older than about 87. More were crushed due to space requirements for flooded vehicles after hurricanes.

It is possible to find perfect fit prices from a junkyard. As long as you use all the proper shims to get everything lined up and take your time it works out pretty good. But sometimes there is a bit of bending and stretching to get it perfect.

I also want to ask you if you recommend me to buy a new carburetor just to be safe and any brand you think are the best for this type of trucks Thanks for the answers

if u like fords u would fall in love at my place and all the people i know we fords and chevys i got a 70 high boy dana 60/80 4 speed 390 engine ranger tool box on side 0% rust in it good clean body the bed was full of parts chrome trim from about 6 pu light emblems extra front clip it cost me a lot 250 bucks for all plus a free 1/2 ton high boy my 68 chevy pu i have 2300 in it no rust factory paint nice and clean body stroked 454 tunnel ram it is all restored just needs the interior and final paint my friend just has lines of trucks just about every year made of fords all complete 2 wheel and 4x4 flat beds and pu he has a 65 ford that is supper clean i know he would sell it cheap needs engine work i know i get everything from him dirt cheap but were good friends just got a 65 chevy good body for a 100 bucks most i get for free most i have is 65 to 79 chevy's and fords one of the best free deals i got a 79 chevy short box cheyenne full option truck been parked in a shop under 35,000 miles in mint condition just had to clean the carb new fuel pump and battery drive it home 400 sb with 400 turbo i know were a flat bed 54 ford u mite be able to just haul it off needs a new bed cab is good
