I'm a musician with venus in scorpio, currently at odds with a lovely music project where merriment and lightness is the aim. My darker creations do not feel appropriate for this band, but that's what I'm most inspired to write.

I have not used monthly profections but annual profections have proved very illuminating for me the past 2 years. Mars is my timelord this year also and the week before the Mars Cazimi I broke out into an allergic rash on my face.😮 Very painful and not at all quick to heal. I have Venus in Scorpio 12th house natally, conjunct Neptune, sextile my Mars/Pluto conjunction in Virgo. So I think this transit will feel good and be helpful to me! My sun is in Libra so Venus is extra important. I also have my chart ruler Jupiter in Scorpio. Everyone else will be in the deep water of my home zone 😂

Interesting. Sun is Scorpio with a moon in Virgo but Venus is in Libra and in the 4th house. However, Jupiter is in Capricorn.

Hello there, Venus in Scorpio Libra sun moon mercury and Aries rising, on Nov 1st my dog swallowed a fish hook which cost me $3000 to fix he is healed well. From the 27th of November to the 4th of December I have experienced a total disintegration in my romantic relationship and a stirring up of lies, secrets and addiction. Thank you for your interpretation this has been fantastic I think a great example for the Venus in Scorpio is a tattoo, painful but enjoyable quirky and textured

Venus in ♏️ in the 8th house natally, here; so I'm going to have my Venus return on Dec 10th, 3 days before my Solar return, and Venus is also my profection planet this year (next is Mars) so I'm paying a great attention to Venus this month, transiting in her natal and profection house and sign. Ps I love archaeology, psychology, literature, and Venus ♏️ rules my 8th and 3rd house. Thank you for your insights ❤

Natal venus in scorpio, retrograde, in 12th. With my mercury (ruling my moon) and pluto. Forward moving and picking up speed via progression, but won't clear Scorpio until im pushing 50. I definitely have intensity there, but what gets me is that it's so invisible to me. During my Libra profection (11th house, south node there natally), I got a lot of therapy and did a lot of work learning about my mental health and healing family trauma. Then, during my 12th house profection, I went through a divorce. Turns out therapy helped me to the point that my people pleasing was no longer beneficial to being in relationships. Mars is in Aquarius in 3rd natally, with my other mars-ruled house being the 5th with my North node. I first learned about profections from your 2021 planning course, and I definitely use profections all the time now. As an aside, I was in an 11th house profection by year, AND Venus was transiting Libra during the monthly profection of my 11th house when I got pregnant with my son. Your interview with Kira Sutherland pointing out that the 11th can rule fertility blew my mind. In any case, while libra and venus mostly feels sad for me, sometimes we may be surprised and sometimes stand to gain a lot, even if the south node "drains" your luck. I gained a lovely child (who coincidentally was born under a libra moon). 😂 I worked very deeply with Venus and learning about my Venus Star Point that year. Mars was a lot of endings. Jupiter was just relaxed. Now comes Saturn for 2 years plus its transit to my 4th..

Hi Kelly I found this video so interesting as I’ve never thought about monthly profections before! Also I want to share that I am also in a Mars profected year, Mars natally is in my 9th house and last month, my mum had a stroke whilst the moon was opposite my natal Mars, 3 days before I was due to travel to Thailand, which I then had to cancel. Transiting mars was combust the sun opposing Uranus also. I hadn’t thought about the fact that Mars was combust so thank you for sharing your story on how this played out for you and I’m glad you are on the mend!

Hey Kelly! I would love to learn monthly profections, I am in an 11th house profection year, which for me is Scorpio, where my Venus is conjunct Pluto lol this week has been a rough one for me. I have grown a lot, but I still struggle with paranoia, obsessive thoughts, that kind of thing, with my partner. I've also had some dental issues this week, I need to find out who is ruling this month!

I'm fairly new, so profections are something I just started working with not too long ago. This year is 8th house profection year. Venus is ruling my 3rd and 8th house (pisces rising). Right around when venus retrograde was conjuncting my natal venus in leo 6th house, my ex came back to apologize for his behavior. I chose to ignore the message but astrologically it was really damn cool! See the last time venus was retrograde in leo I broke up with him (2015). Also my grandma died from cancer and I started talking to/hanging out with my brothers and cousins more during the eclipse in Taurus (my 3rd house) and less so now that the eclipse cycle through Taurus is complete.

Hi - detriment is a factor that relates to sign placement only. So Venus in Pisces in the 8th house is definitely an exalted Venus!

The way that Isabel Hickey talked about this placement in her classic text “Astrology: A Cosmic Science” was utterly depressing. I felt I must have screwed up badly in a past life. I think her take was also pretty irresponsible as it could sink someone’s self love and self belief llike a stone. Just awful. And the Libra and Sagittarius ones were so nice. I think I really drew the short straw here. Yuck !!!

I got super sick with some mystery flu in November too! For me it happened during the Mars-Saturn square. For context, Pisces is the sign on my 6th house and Mars is my timelord via annual profections
