Exploring a War of 1812 Military Outpost on an island in Maine.

Joe, Steve and Nick adventure out to a small island to explore an old campsite where old maps show a baseball field from the early 1900's along with a military outpost location. We found a variety of relics along with a few older coins that date the area. Joe finds a U.S. button which was left behind and confirms some military activity.

Did he get the bullet out of the tree?? He found a nice two cent piece and Indian. Joe got those cool shoe buckles and that button which was awesome! And you got that cool pocket watch. Great video. 💖💯

Nick ended up leaving the large musket ball in the wood which looked so much better. I actually ended up removing a few extra minutes from that event due to the several attempts with no success.

That button looks like A(Union) Civil War Era Button, not the Era you guys are lookin for! I’m more towards Waterville, Oakland actually. I just saw your channel, or heard it actually, can tell those accents anywherah’!!! Trying to guess what island you guys were on? I don’t think you said where if yah did I missed it! Don’t worry I’m not out to snag your spots!!! Those were some cool finds, happy hunting guys!!!
