Every time I've been to a new place in my life, and trust me, I've tried that a lot. There is a period of uncertainty, discomfort and sense of not belonging. It will always be so, but it will also always go away at some point, 100% certain. No matter how many times you try it, that feeling always comes, embracing it, and knowing that it will come and go again, can sometimes speed up the process. Anyways, I hear that up here in the north of Denmark, we might relax on the restrictions soon, as we have almost no cases. It will be nice to see all the stores and different venues and public places open again. Downtown Aalborg is a mess right now, due to the lite rail construction, but still nice to go out since the weather has been improving. Aalborg is quite nice in the summer, being called the Paris of the North, and if everything goes well, the Carneval in may will make the town explode in joy.

Carlsberg 47 is a beer for alcoholics. It's high percentage (7%) for a low cost. Unfortunately I really can't give advice on which reasonably priced Danish beers are good as I don't drink alcohol at all, and my friends generally drink Belgium beers or expensive microbrews.

@@kimmieschmidt6980 Although owned by Carlsberg, Grimberg is originally a Belgian beer. Only Grimberg beers sold in Belgium and the Netherlands are actually made in Belgium by Heineken. Grimberg beers sold in all other countries are made by Carlsberg owned breweries in France, Poland and Italy.

Great Vlog! Got a subsriber! My girlfriend and I are both actually moving to Aalborg next month, I come from Denmark myself, but she is from Moldova and worried about everyone speaking Danish. Maybe we can be friends? Also I am pretty sure Aalborg has an international meeting place for students during Wednesdays. Not sure if it is active right now but worth looking into.

Hi! I have a few questions! I hope u see this, so I want to move to Copenhagen Denmark in a few years from now once COVID is over and go to a university somewhere in Denmark. So the first question is, do you go to a university there and if so I’ve heard most of them speak only danish so I’m assuming you either go to an English speaking one and in that scenario where? Second question, I’m learning danish to and I’m at the first circle after the first checkpoint on Duolingo and I’m just asking that now as you have moved to Denmark (temporary I think) is it easier to catch on words? And are you still continuing your Duolingo lessons. That’s it by I honestly really enjoy your videos as you are learning danish on Duolingo too!!! and I have someone to relate to! So yeah, I hope you see this ❤️

Hey!! That’s awesome ☺️ I am here for an internship yes but I have asked around and especially in Copenhagen there are a lot of international students. Even here at the Aalborg university there are Facebook groups of internationals. I know the Uni here has a lot of international courses so I’m sure they do in Copenhagen as well! I have stopped my Duolingo journey 😂 but I would like to continue actually. It’s a hard language. I feel like I can read it a little but once the Danes start speaking I’m so lost haha. But my Danish has definitely improved, because I’m around it everyday. & thank you so much!! I really appreciate it 😊 have a good day!! 💖

I would recommend Aarhus, the university is one of the ten most beautiful in the world. And Aarhus has a large population of students 40%of it's population is between 16 and 40. Many internationals as well.

I went to Aarhus last year in October so I highly recommend getting the trait to there. The old city: Den Gamle By is amazing. Entry is not that expensive and it's definitely worth it. You can spend the whole day there. Also the Botanical garden is amazing and it's free. The ÄRoS art museum is interesting as well (it's closed on Mondays). I hope this helped.
