I just watch another KZbinr go to this same place and they were told by the owner to tell people to please not go there or you will encounter police. I guess they day you went you were lucky you and didn't get caught by the police.

@@_anon_4532 I'm from nearby and there's a lot better resorts in the area. Kalahari Resorts, Great Wolf Lodge and Cedar Point all have better waterparks... the layout of this one is creepy and unnatural. It's strange and different from the other resorts in the area

I had never been there but way back around the age of 19/20 I worked for a company that put the roof on this building!

Yup worked here when they opened in 2007 and November of 2007 when we came to work they walked outside and told us it was closing down and to go home.

Seeing Maui Sands in the state makes me sad…I went here many times when I was younger, and It is the funnest and most creatively themed water park ever.

I was one of the inspectors that helped close it. Hope you had on proper masks. It is covered in black mold. They had bed bugs in the HALLWAY carpets and even the claw stuffed animal machine. There were roaches in all the food prep areas. It was bad everywhere.

Today I was at the out side and one police offocer stop us and said that we can not be outside because a lot of people are steling. Officer was nice and let us go. We was only at parking.
