You’re about to see one of the most incredible abandoned mansions we’ve ever found. Originally built in 1988 with 12,000 square feet of living space right on the beach. This would be anyone’s typical dream home. In 2012 the mansion went up for sale and almost immediately after hitting the market it was sold for 5 million dollars to a family that came to America from Egypt. But just 6 months later a devastating hurricane slammed into the northeast causing substantial amounts of damage to the home and many other homes around. But that’s not why this mansion is abandoned. After the hurricane the family fixed the house and made it quote on quote “hurricane proof” and did many other upgrades bringing the property value to $7,000,000. But according to neighbors and anonymous sources. The family was doing some shady things to acquire their wealth. Quite honestly no one knew what these people even did to become so rich. Some say they were part of the mafia, some say it was drug lords, no one really knows who these people are. But one thing we did find inside of the home was foreclosure papers dating to 2014. Which makes sense being that there are 2 luxury cars left behind in the garage that have tags dated to 2014. People in the neighborhood say they were here one day and gone the next never to return. So let’s explore and try uncover exactly why this place is abandoned. So join me today and let’s see what’s left.

People need to hear the truth tho; the interior of the house is honestly terrible. The styling is just awful - really tacky, almost like it was decorated by someone with absolutely no sense of taste or style.

I don’t understand the neighborhood kids that get inside to just to vandalize the place. Like what is wrong with these suburban spoiled brats that feel so entitled to just destroy things? It goes to show some real internalized issues, or their parents never teaching respect.? I have no idea, do not get it. Its like some lord of the flies sh*t i can tell you that. They get free rein of a place and all they can think to do is destroy!.? Something wrong there imo. I’m thinking if i came upon this type of scenario as kid, it be more like a secret club house, and id wanna keep it nice as a hang out spot! Lol but idk? The hate and discontent in these kids that vandalize, just beyond my scope i guess… how fun to explore these type of time capsules, it does make me feel for the people that clearly got in over their heads in debt. I hope they had somewhere safe to restart their new life, regardless of what brought them to have to abandon this property… thank you for giving us this glimpse into this mysterious scenario, certainly makes me curious to know more about it, even tho prob not my business….

This house was previously owned by Perry and Alex Criscitelli who were part of the Bonanno crime family. The current owner is Abdel asser Kamel Sheta Esmail who may be related to Gamal Abdel Nasser, an Egyptian military officer and politician who served as the second president of Egypt from 1954 until his death in 1970. It appears that the house was foreclosed because the owner did not pay the Homeowner Association Dues that were less than $10,000, Board of Directors of Ocean Gate Estates Home Owners Association Inc. - v. - Abdel Nasser Kamel Sheta Esmail et al. He also owes $55,623.07 for the property tax that was due on January 2, 2024, according to NYC Department of Finance.

There’s a tide mark on the Mercedes from Hurricane Sandy, I assume the same for the BMW. This family bought the house just prior to Sandy, they repaired the house (next door was demolished) and had ‘nt got to the garage. Tax and sales records show they still own the house. The zebra print carpet and a lot of the furniture was in the house when they purchased it, going by the last for sale listing. Most other KZbinrs are saying the husband was arrested and the family deported, but my research shows the wife is still in the area. The foreclosure you refer to was by the HOA, it’s listed in court documents, probably for Hurricane proofing their house without HOA approval I’m guessing. It has been listed several times since 2014 but always withdrawn

Hey Bankz! I loved this video. I used to be an interior decorator for a couple of showrooms during 2007-2014, and one of them carried only the highest end furniture companies. It was my favorite job I've ever had! It's crazy because I recognize a lot of the furniture and rugs from those days and it's ALL from the most expensive lines, as you guessed. I can tell from the style of the decor that they had an interior decorator come through and do the rooms for them and furnishings. But then, like you were saying, all those tacky fuzzy comforters and things like that makes it clear the smaller items that they were purchasing themselves, they had no clue how to match colors and decorate. It seems like they must have had some young babies that they were having to feed, and rather go up and down stairs they just put a fridge and a microwave in the master so they could do bottles and whatnot easily. Maybe they had multiples like twins or triplets that made it difficult to manage.

The fridge and microwave in the master bathroom was probably used to store baby formula or breast milk, and then heated up in the microwave, it would easier than going downstairs to the kitchen for a baby bottle at night, since there is a crib next to the bed.

Leeaferrians said baby formula, I said coffee. Life is not good without coffee... so you get a grip. I think there is much to learn about a life style others than yours... I find it strange that in these very large homes, no one ever dedicated any rooms to servants. Do you really believe the lady of the house did her own vacuuming? Not a case of ditching them. When someone goes tits up/skint/broke… they have to take what they can. Sometimes will be locked out & will have limited space for their items as probably going to smaller property. Sometimes you’ve got to cut your losses & leave it all behind. Gym likely was not financial sense to take apart, move it all & reset it. 😅

The previous owners of this house are also interesting, apparently, in 2004, the husband, former president of San Gennaro feast, is a member of the Bonanno crime family - an Italian-American Mafia crime family and one of the "Five Families" that dominates organized crime activities in NYC. His wife, Annette, also resigned from her position of treasurer in 2004 alongside her husband amidst the alleged mob ties investigation. After selling this house, the couple moved two minutes down the road, the house is registered in her name only.

Even if you had all that space to have friends/family come to stay with you at the beach, the space does not even make sense. Coming to you live from Orlando. I used to explore abandoned mansions in Orlando when I was a kid before the internet unfortunately. Found a house in Altamonte springs back in the early nineties rumor had it the father killed his wife and two kids and then himself in the house. So we decided to go exploring it looked like the house from Gone with the Wind. So here's the funny thing there was an article in the newspaper several years later because somebody had bought the house and they were tearing it down. It was in a beautiful neighborhood on a lake. Come to find out the rumor about the father was untrue but the house was owned by somebody involved with the movie gone with The wind and The wrap party with all the stars from the movie Gone with the Wind was held at that house.

Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona thanks for the great video! For me the home is gorgeous, but the interior decoration needs a BIG overhaul…lol😂 The colors are just too gaudy. The family should have went with more earth tone colors, warm and inviting. I would add some nice warm but rich wood flooring to complement the marble. The basement was giving me big Spec Ops: The Line vibes, looked like maybe it was really flooded at one time? My favorite part of the home was the kitchen, the appliances…😮‍💨🤤😍‼️👍

I wonder if the owners of this once great mansion are watching this video. its especially sad that the cars were left to rot.

I used to do REO clean outs, sales cleaning, winterizing, and mold removal. Every room in that house on the first floor needs mold removal done to it. That furniture isn't salvageable or if it is i wouldn't want it after having all those mold spores on it. That BMW was even moldy on the inside. I would love to do the clean up on that place though.

The upside-down pineapple traditionally signifies hospitality and warmth. Others have used it to signify that they are swingers!
