Love it mate. Some of those creek crossings looked hella sketchy. I've waded through some tanniny stuff as the suns going down that I probably should've turned around in and the feeling is a quite unnerving. At least some fish were getting around at the last spot cheers

Heavier outfit was a commander kingbolt with a luvias 2510PE-H and pe1/20lb leader, lighter outfit was a td black paddlefish with a luvias 2500 and pe0.6/12lb leader

Do the local people enjoy tourists and backpackers company? Or do you find everyone wants them to go away. Messaging Cairns locals online and I am not finding them to be very talkative to tourists or strangers. Never really any desires to answer any questions, which is fair. Just wondering if they are different in person.
