I wonder if these guys have any restrictions in housing sector like segregation of areas between the whites and Browns, because back home in Gujarat there's a law called the Disturbed areas act that doesn't allow religious minorities to buy property in areas inhabited by religious majority community. Actually the Jama Masjid you visited is even older than the date mentioned there. That date is only for the mosque but originally it is built on hindu temple after the city of karnavati(now ahmedabad) was captured by Ahmad shah I hence the name ahmedabad that's why you see all those carved pillars which are similar to old hindu architecture in forts and temples.

Anyone cpold guess it used to be a temple simply by taking one look at the dome of the mosque. Its pretty obvious that the dome was the only part that was added on later in ragtag makeshift manner and that too with plaster. For such an intricately carved interior you'd be a fool to think that the dome and the interiors are parts of the same building. It looks exactly the same as one could see at the Qutub mosques where the Jain temples were destroyed and the ugly domes built over the erstwhile grand structures.

Thank You in Gujarati is Aabhar. Khaman and Dhokla are two different items, but outside Gujarat, Indians don't know the difference. The shredded accompaniment with fafda is Raw Papaya. When in mango season they mix raw mango with it and it gives a tangy taste. There is a special category of food items called Farsan which includes all savory snacks in the restaurant mostly made from chickpea flour. Khaman, Fafda, Papdi, etc. Even the steamed Patra has a paste of chickpeas with spices and sugar and sour. Jalebi is a dessert but in India desserts are mostly eaten along with the main course. Also, desserts are eaten like a snack as well. Just like someone has a cale and coffee.

Jama Masjid was Bhadrakali temple, and city used to be known as Bhadra, later Karnavati and after Ahmed Shah took over was named as Ahmedabad. Every single thing from huge round ugly dome (as idols are broken and only round part is kept unfinished), even pillar suggest it’s temple. In Hindu temples pillars have idols and they have flatten those idols, while where ever there was design they have kept it as is. Literally, this is Hindu temple.

I am waiting for all the money siphoned off by the likes of Nirav Modi and Mehul Chowksi. I also wonder if all the natives of Gujrat who are commenting on this video from Western liberal democracies. I wonder if these guys have any restrictions in housing sector like segregation of areas between the whites and Browns, because back home in Gujarat there's a law called the Disturbed areas act that doesn't allow religious minorities to buy property in areas inhabited by religious majority community. Such a law is seen by me as a state sanctioned apartheid. Stop this doublespeak, people can see through the facade. How is the disturbed areas act not discriminatory
