I‘m fully convinced, Wolly is the one speaking to us, ones we type 2023 in. Because at the beginning of the 2nd tape, he was the one saying „Whatever you do, don‘t…“. On that blue screen he finally had the chance to talk to us, without Amanda entering the conversation or interrupting it.

I have a theory that Amanda is hypnotising the player, she hypnotised them to not burn the tapes AND is making the cartoon world seem like the real world to lure them in (like in the shovel episode)

Oh that actually makes a lot of sense, maybe that’s what happened to Wooly. Maybe he was lured in by his friend/sister and now he has to help Amanda hypnotize people, like peer pressure. And the rest of the things that have eyes are the other people hypnotized into this world. But now Wooly is trying to save us, breaking free of the blackmail and peer pressure, but uhhh Amanda wasn’t bluffing.

Theory: The dude we play as sister(or daughter) was killed/taken by Amanda After he found the tapes. He must have known some how and started to study and watch the tapes to get her back. -On the Wall it says I will find u or something like that, with a kid and a Tv I believe that he started to go insane and fixate on these tapes getting more and more attached to the demon inside. U can See he writes on the walls I’m sorry and then crosses over it. Along with DONT listen to what she says. And then Writes over that about listening to her

I wonder if the one talking to us in the Blue Tape section is the Meat Man himself...If we theorise that all of the things with eyes (aside from Amanda and Woolie) are trapped souls, then wouldn't it make sense for Meat Man to be trapped soul, too? Then there's the fact that, as far as I can tell, that's the only section where you can put the 2023 code in, which seems a bit too coincidental, and that the voice says "That sheep", meaning Woolie. If it was Woolie talking to us, why would he address himself in such a way?

I think the "let's go home" tape might be you letting Amanda into your house. Her insistence on *you* letting her in, as well as Woolly begging us not to and that warning the 2023 code gives, kinda feels less like her taking over your soul and more her entering your home. The flash of her monster form in the final tape kinda reinforces that for me, like that's how she is in your home, same with the screenshot on the steam page of her in that same form. Also, small detail but I love the devs using a neutral name and pronouns for Riley, it's a nice touch to have so players can project onto them.
