This channel just gets better and better. I was gonna like the Winston video just because it was so hard-hitting and made me realize how emotionally invested in this channel I am, but I just can't "like" a video about my boy's dog dying. Sorry that your trip was followed by such a dark time. Getting home from a trip is supposed to be a joyful time, and that just sucks sucks sucks that you had to go from such a high to such a low. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I absolutely love the content you're putting out. These amazon videos are dope and I can't wait for yall to do some fishing!!!

Here in South America every lure we buy we must replace it's split rings and hooks (except the ones made here wich are already prepared for our fish), not because of the size of the fish but their strenght, for example a common 3 pound wolf fish can easily open the rings and bend/break the hooks in a Rapala out of the box.

I'm so glad you did this trip. Everyone wants to go Alaska and catch the salmon but being from Florida and catching 6+ pound peacocks I can only imagine the fun in catching a 30+ pound pea.

I did three years of embassy duty in Brasilia. Of those three years 11 months were at the consulate in Manaus. My friend we have traveled the same waters. But I never caught a peacock bass...but I did catch one of their catfish species...only about twenty lbs.! I can see your having a hell of a time! Looking forward to more videos!

While in the Navy I came down here for a while to train Brazilian sailors. This country and the people are so beautiful. I mean physically really pretty people and so friendly and accomodating ,they just want you to do what you want to do;;;;South America as a whole is an undiscovered country.......just incredible ...and the bonus is that they are incredibly modern at the edge of the Amazon jungle.
