Do more of the camping, especially with Rob. Chilling around the campfire sipping a beer, rigging rods or getting ready to pop a yote or pig would be some solid content. For comic relief you could OCCASIONALLY bring Jon and Peric, Flair wouldn’t have any issues with the woods but those City Boy Yankees ought to be a hoot.

We started at Toledo Bend one year and fished West all the way back to Fork Joe Pool all those likes Lake Waco Lake Aquilla like Whitney had a blast and we stayed at the boat ramps on 90% of them slept in the truck had a blast Brothers y'all need to do it and record it

Really like the camping in addition to the fishing. Doing some over nighters with your friends is so much fun. I would recommend doing them while you can cause once the baby gets here you will have less opportunity to camp unless OSG lets you go.

Awesome video LFG. I had something similar happen to me when I was fishing. I was Fishing a golf course pond and I was standing on a brick 3 ft out into the water. I hooked up to a 1lbs bass and 4 follow it in. The 4 following are 3 1lbs bass and 1 5lbs bass. I quickly reel in the bass I have on while the other bass are trying to get the bait out it’s mouth. They all swim up 1 ft away from the brick I’m standing on. I quickly take the fish off the hook I have on the line and pitch back out. Then I hook a 1lbs bass and the other bass and the 5lbs bass follow it in too. I quickly unhook the 1lbs bass I have on my line and pitch back out. Then I hook up to the 5lbs bass and the fight is on it’s pulling drag and trying to run into reeds by the shore. I eventually reel it in and unhook it and release it. All of this happened in less then a minute.

You should come fish Lake Champlain in NY. Upper part of the lake is clear and can see 15 ft down easily!!

I would more camping/fishing videos anything about your life is cool with me. I had a friend years ago that was bass fishing with his dad and he caught 2 bass at once on a crank bait and landed them our local paper even did a write up about this was back in 70's We have a lake about 70 to 80 miles from me that is clear most of the year like that it is not uncommon to see the bottom in 20ft of water it is also a great smallmouth and largemouth lake. Thanks for sharing it was a bummer Rob had to leave but he had to get back to be with sarah during this hard time for her. Thanks for sharing have a great day. Praying for you guys every day!!!

Having been a scout leader since my son joined the cub scouts in 2000 and on to boy scouts and venturing which ended when he turned 21 in 2014, I really enjoyed the camping portion! It reminded me of so many situations that occurred! Fun times for sure! Maybe invest in a tent that will sleep several people, is in order! Lol

Good video! I've had this experience with big trout on Lake Tahoe. Luckily I was on a pier with rod holders. Just set the rod with the smaller fish down and pulled in the one (landed both).

Way to go LFG! I dunno how difficult it is with largies, but with peacock basses here in Brazil it's very doable, I've seen people catching 4 fish handing rod after rod to the guide to hold while they cast it, or just holding them between their legs! I myself fish with only 1 kind of bait on each rod (1 top water, 1 mid and 1 deep water) and except on a hot topwater bite it's difficult to accomplish, bit it does happens when a school of peacocks is found.

Hey I do alot of top water popper fishing at night last night got hit by a 3lder that just inhaled it. Is there a better way to get out a treble hook that is down in the gill I went with the line cut out the side but was real careful not to get the other caught. Spent alot of time reviving that fish... Any pointers or tips for next time.

As a kid, I tied 2 Panther Martins to a 3-way swivel and caught 2 smallies on the first cast. Haiwee Reservoir. The fishing is so good, LADWP will pull gun on you if you try to wet a line.
