They have actual light so we can see what they see. When they do scenes in pitch black night vision would be pretty useless indoors unless there is some sort of ambient light. Night vision is more like an image intensifier. Night vision amplifies what little light there is and if there isn't any in pitch black it would be useless. There can also be too much light for it to work. It's a tricky thing.

Guuyssss, you should consider investing in a night vision camera for your exploration videos!!! It will make it so much easier for you to see what the fuck you're doing in the dark (without using any light source, aka. you won't get caught easily), and it will make it a lil more interesting for us to watch, too!!
