Today whilst exploring abandoned places I venture inside this Abandoned house left completely frozen in time hidden deep in the woods. The abandoned house was left to decay when a widow 'Silvia' lived here alone, after her husband passed away she was unable to cope with maintaining the property and it began to decay around her. She eventually passed away in the house leaving everything inside.
If you enjoy exploring abandoned places then stick around as I upload a new abandoned location every single Sunday

So many lonely people. I think the pandemic has made that worse. My heart breaks for those alone. I loved working as a nurse when I would visit those alone. I'd make time to sit and visit and listen. This is one of the sadder of these videos, not sure why. Adam is so very respectful and always leaves things as they were, as does Matt. One of my favorite channels!

I am an only child and single, and now 50. I basically have no friends, just my parents. I don't know what I will do when they pass. Other family of mine live thousands of miles away, and is only my dad's. No one left on my mom's direct. I will either be homeless or living in dereliction someday, unless my parents leave me enough to have a single family home. I am autistic and just never could make it other than self employment, of which I am unable to work a lot due to the executive function issues that keep getting worst.

About the clock stopping. I have a clock story for you. I took care of an old friend when he was dying of lung cancer. He had a clock in the kitchen that never worked. I asked him about it and he just dismissed it and said the clock doesn't work but he kept it on the wall anyway. So I was there when he passed away. He left everything to me. My husband and I, and a friend rented a truck to get everything out. When we walked into the kitchen, it was eerily quiet. Then, I heard tick tick tick tick...I looked at the clock, which had started working a few seconds after we entered the kitchen and the clock was stuck on 9:30 which was the time of his death! You could see the second hand moving but was stuck and would not move past the 30 minute number. This clock was battery operated yet had not worked for over a year!

Sylvia certainly loved film! I'll assume the photo & film equipment was hers. It's curious how there are no framed photos of pets, and of she with her husband, unless all was removed at some point. Wouldn't you have loved to have seen what was on those reels? And wow did she love to collect glass and tins and animal figurines! I think she was a sentimental woman. Excellent explore Adam! You are so sensitive to every home you share with us. Looking forward to your next explore!

Great explore. It's sad that things are left behind and forgotten because of no family. You mentioned the light green glass, it looks like Vasoline Glass. To be sure if it's put under a black light it glows. Beautiful glass. Keep up the great exploring!

When I see places like this Adam it is just so so sad. So lonely it must have been for this lady. And in the end all the possessions of a lifetime are just vanity, nothing in the end, not even her wedding ring. But the lady that lived there, she was the most precious entity in the whole house. There was only one of her, and she can never be replaced. May her spirit rest in peace.
