I Summon Thee
This beautiful, rural farmhouse has lived two completely separate lives, up until just a few years ago, it was owned by a farming family who worked the surrounding land for generations. They sold the property which was then bought by an investor.
The farmhouse was then painted all white inside and rented out to multiple people, one of was an older lady who is a writer. But there was also a couple that lived there, let's call them Lisa and Jeff and this is where things take a turn for the worse!
Both Lisa and Jeff have had problems with the law, Jeff has spent time in prison and their children were also taken away by child protection services.
There were many documents left in the house presumably because the tenants left in a hurry, one of which was a warrant to search the home for evidence relating to a crime that Lisa had committed. The search must have been successful because Lisa was charged with identity theft and was apparently out on bail. That's not all, there was also a restraining order against her for another woman, maybe one of the people who's identity she had stolen. This also could explain all the mail in the house addressed to other people who didn't live there.
Jeff's trail mostly ends here but from what I found he is in a new relationship and has hopefully left his life of crime behind. Lisa however hasn't changed, more recently she has been involved with some of the highly publicised car thefts that have been all over the news the past couple of years. She was one of many people charged related to a bust involving the recovery of hundreds of stolen cars worth millions of dollars.
Lisa is now living in another province, she has a new boyfriend and together they have continued to get into trouble. Just a few months ago, the two of them were caught trying to leave the province with many pending charges, one of which was again, identity theft.
The investor had owned the property for just 2 years but was already listing it for sale for about 5 times the price they paid for it. Obviously nobody was interested in purchasing the house and land at that price, so it has been on and off the market a few times at various prices, including one as low as $2.

Chaos! That's the word that describes this horrible house. It's also very sad to see that anyone would live in those conditions. Let alone have children there. The actual building must have been very nice in its prime. James, I am really liking the drone footage. Great coverage of this property.😀🌺

Chaos is an excellent way to describe it! I am sure it was a lot nicer when the previous owners lived there. The landlord really did a disservice to the home when they whitewashed it, took all its character away but at least they didn't touch the outside! Glad you enjoyed the drone footage and thank you very much for your comment!!

Hi James! Waow, what a place. Wasn’t expecting it to have such a chaotic backstory. It looked lovely from the outside and I’m sure the interior was great at one point in time. It’s not bad, clearly, but the wood has obviously been painted over. Poor kids having to live in such rough conditions and I hope they, as well as whatever dogs or other pets they had, are happier wherever they went. Some people don’t deserve to have kids or pets. The Prison Break dvds are kind of ironic! Thanks very much for the video!
@StaticSpaces

I really didn't expect such an interesting story to come from this house either. I don't think the kids actually lived there, the address for that document was for a different location, either way, not a good family for them to grow up. And that is a very good point about the prison break DVDs 😂 Thank you very much for your comment Stephanie!!

Crazy amazing but disturbing place. I can’t handle any animal cruelty so to imagine a pet left behind makes me cringe. The brick work on the outside of the house was stunning and didn’t look to be crumbling. I can’t imagine having the wealth to lovingly restore such a property. Dream on right!! Real strange that those rooms were cut off from the rest of the house. The basement just plain creepy. Incredible woodwork. Sad to imagine it destroyed. Soon there will be no farms left. Thanks James for sharing this incredible weird and eerie space.

Yes, that one room at the end was extremely disturbing! So I think the reason the home had separate sections is because they were separate apartments and there were exterior doors for all of them. Glad you enjoyed it Karrie and thanks a lot for your comment!!

Wow 😳 I can only hope that the kids never go back to these people 😔. So much disgusting living situations in this once beautiful historic home. The outside of the house design was beautiful I just love that design. Sad nasty criminal people destroyed this house. 😞. Maybe squatters were there but I think most of the nasty conditions were the idiots renting there in my opinion. Everything is destroyed. Horders it looks like as well in areas. Maybe just nasty people really. I have heard from friends/ coworkers that rented homes like this to people that they destroy it every time and it's expensive to fix and takes months to get them out of the house. I as well have been on a Hoa board and renters did the same thing to every house in the subdivision that was a rental. I am NOT saying ALL renter's are bad. I have rented apartments and know others who do not destroy another person's house or apartment. I guess some people are just trash and criminals and nasty 🤢 who have no respect or care for anything it appears. Thanks this video was absolutely interesting and a reminder to me not to rent a house. I would go to jail hunting these people down lol Crazy yet interesting video ❤🎉

James this place was so pretty in it’s day. The brick work outside the trim woodwork inside. I can picture it before someone painted it all. I’m gonna say something that some renters aren’t gonna like, I worked for a couple of multi housing companies. I was a property manager. The first company I worked for were tight wads when it came to turning apartments and repairs. Some renters left those apartments in terrible shape. Then I worked for a larger company that did what needed to be done when turning and repairs. The apartments were nice. The way some renters left the apartments was terrible once again. Renter could have done this and having owners that don’t repair or replace properly also add to the chaos. Not all renters left their apartments tore up and filthy, but way more than you would think did! This could be renter damage? Whatever animal it suffered . So awful and sad. Once one of my tenants went to the hospital and her dog was left in the apartment. After a couple of days I heard it cry so I called the police (you can’t enter without permission)I could not locate the emergency contact, I went in and the poor baby had his toe nail caught in the bed spread . I cut the dog lose. If you rent always make sure your information is up to date like emergency contacts. Animal control came and got the dog.
@StaticSpaces

Problem renters are definitely not the norm but the few that do cause problems always make themselves known. The landlord in this case was also not fulfilling his side of the agreement. I think there are just some people in this world that are very entitled and no matter what they do, they will always create problems for themselves and the people around them. It's scary when pets are left to fend for themselves, I'm glad your story had a happy ending for the dog! Thank you very much for your comment Cee Cee!!

There was some nice wooden furniture left behind! Nice staircase even though it’s painted. The sauna was definitely an unusual find. Cute little sun porch! Nice piece of property. Surprised no one bought it for $2.
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces 10 ай бұрын
Well $2 isn't the selling price, it's just an advertisement to get people interested in the property. It's the same as an auction that starts a bid at a fraction of the value for the item, then if the reserve price isn't met, it doesn't get sold. Thanks very much for your comment!!

Wow, it started out like a nice house, over looking all the scattered stuff and then it just got seriously weird. Kind of freaked me out. Not even being able to sell the property for $2 says something about the vibe potential buyers probably get and the monumental job it would be just to clean all that garbage out. The couch looked like a dog tore it up and the one spindle in the middle landing looked chewed on, so they probably locked the dog in the one room. All the mail from so many people, the woman was probably stealing peoples mail.
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces 10 ай бұрын
There really were a lot of strange things going on here...I don't really understand the mail thing personally because I don't think that's classified as Identity theft. Either way, not a person you would want to befriend in real life. As for the property being listed for $2, that's not the actual price it would sell for, it's just a marketing tactic agents and sellers sometimes use to get people interested and sometimes create a bidding war. They would have a reserve price they are looking for and not accept any offers below that. Thank you very much for your comment!!
