Drae maybe you'll read this and let icy and igp know, I tried leaving this in their comments but they never see it xD DON'T SAY THE GHOSTS NAME! You only say the name if you want to piss it off. If you say it's name then ask a question, the ghost will only register that you said it's name and get more aggressive. Literally just ask it questions, do not ever say it's name unless you want it to get angry and appear and hunt sooner. Also ask "Can you give me a sign" it's usually a good question. Otherwise make sure the gost box is on when you ask questions. If it's on and you ask "where are you" it usually answers its location and can also be precise. Sometimes school for example the ghost has said "Gym" before. THE CRUSAFIX ONLY STOPS IT HUNTING YOU, IT WILL NOT STOP MANAFESTATION. I'd won't stop it from hunting you if it's already hunting. Also the crusafix doesn't work if it's in your hands from what I've seen

it doesn't work in your hands because it goes into physical form away from the player that is holding it. If your flashlight is blinking, HIDE. also, turning off your flashlight does nothing because the ghost can see in the dark.

Well yea it can see you in the dark, but turning of your flashlight, hiding somewhere (I usually survive by just hiding in the corner and facing a wall) and being COMPLETELY SILENT saves your life. Game listens to your mic every second, meaning that you don't need to use local proximity voice chat or walkie-talkie for ghost to hear you, it hears you even if you are just looking at your phone and mumbling an song. Don't move, don't use any equipment, turn off your torch and be silent. I have only died once even with ghosts being one step away from me and breathing into my ear during the hunt.

Here's a few tips when the ghost is hunting: Turn off your flashlight, find a place to hide such as a closet or a laundry room that you dont think the ghost is in, dont talk and ESPECIALLY hold your urge to SCREAM, the ghost will target you if you scream. I hope you already know these and are just having extra fun :)

Just keep in mind that you should ONLY say the ghost's name if you want to ANGER it. Saying its name and asking a question doesn't work, as it's focused on the first command (the name.) I would highly recommend not saying their name until you know where they are and are ready to trap them. I would Google a bunch of questions you can ask the ghost as well, there are over 50 different things you can ask them.
