Exploring an ABANDONED Rail Line

With nature taking over, it’s hard to imagine this was once an active rail line. But, much of the amazing engineering used to construct this old right-of-way is still standing. The tracks may be gone, but people have moved in and it now serves as a portion of the Atlanta Beltline’s Northeast Trail.

Thanks! Light rail has always been a proposed feature of the Beltline, but I haven't seen much progress on actually making it happen.
