I have ate here in the early 1990s the food was wonderful!!!!!!! It was a time capsule then from the 1940s-1950s the waitress dressed in 1950s clothes and do wop music from the 1950s was playing!!!!!!!!!! I hope someone restores this awesome place!!!!

I remember always visiting the USS Silversides in Muskegon as a kid, then my family would stop in to Rosie's Diner.

I grew up in Rockford and used to eat there at least once a week as I worked right around the corner....It was really a cool place! I just found you today through watching Dukes of Hazzard vids. Really good stuff! Hopefully you could re-visit it again someday👍

My sister was buying the place from Jerry in the early 2000’s I’m not sure what happened but it was a very cool place. It is very sad that it is in such bad shape! She never did anything with the mini golf area, just the dinner car and the bar area! Rosie is was fun while it lasted!💋

Is your sister Tammi by any chance? She was buying it when I worked there back in 03-04 and my dad owned the bar. I remember making the sign for the top of the building. They called it the "Club Car". Good memories.

Ik man I love old types of restaurants especially diners (maybe including out in the woods or the middle of nowhere) and they have neon lights. I wasn't even born before the 2000s but either way I still love old stuff

(Some good classic movies were like 'stand by me' which is one of my favorite movies and 'the sandlot' but there's probably more)

They are no longer abandoned. Somebody just recently bought Rosies diner and is moving it to Missouri and it’s gonna be fully restored. I’ve made a few videos on it myself I’m hoping to get there before they move it so I can film it one last time.
