Exploring An ABANDONED Ship!

In this very different explore, we climb onboard what we believe could have been an abandoned cargo boat. We stumble across its crew quarters down inside the ship, along with the engine room. We also believe a woman had been living here post its operational use. The vessel has sat there for around a year or two, prior to that it is not exactly known. Join us onboard!
As mentioned in the video, there is a short segment showing one of the rooms I missed - which I filmed during a return visit. After the outro, there are also a few outtake clips - again from the return visit. Hope you enjoy folks!

The Ship is the MV Carmel which was a cargo ship that operated between Cowes and Southampton

Glad you enjoyed! It was a private vessel. Not sure on the full history, but someone was living on it well after it was decommissioned and one year a few years back we had a storm which blew it to where it’s sat now. It costs too much money to remove it so they’ve just left it. Not too sure who’s responsible for it, or even who owns it, but I’d imagine the local city council.

It was still trading in 2016. Would be quite easy to remove on a high tide. It has been moored there looking at the ropes and springs purposely. Most likely will end up scrapped one day​@@ExploringWithin
