I prefer the westerrn one because it's supposed to look like a background. Or at least in Sapphire's case, it looks like the sea floor.

No way, that's weird to see this. I just bought a copy of Pokémon X today as I've never played it and I wanted to play it in preparation for ZA- coming out next year and I found it interesting to find someone's save file that hasn't been touched since 2016 (at least according to the last time the person saved) and took a look at their boxes too. What was really interesting is how they made boxes for each type of Pokémon too such as grass, water and fire and placed Pokémon in them accordingly and Dex number sorted from lowest to highest. It may be a bit weird of me to do but I'm planning to move their Pokémon to my Pokémon Bank so they can live on in a way 😊

It just never feels right to get rid of someone else's Pokémon. GameFreak has done such a good job at making us believe Pokémon really are precious friends to hold dear.

@@kingsmithgaming8726 I can see how that can come off as weird to someone (especially if they never played the game's) but if that makes me weird then I don't care, I'm happy to know others are like me that care about the Pokémon like I do even if they are only data because to me, that is real enough and they deserve to live too. 😊❤️

If you were to reset the fill I'd consider transferring up a good amount of the Pokémon first. That is a Japanese copy of Ruby, so the Pokémon you catch will be Japanese, meaning you should be able to get there regional dex info in like Gen. 4, 5, etc. and be able to Masuda method through various generations. It's all something I wanted to try doing if I got a foreign Pokémon game, besides my copy of Pocket Monsters Red(JP).

Just recently got secondhand copies of Black 2 and Y at a game store the other week. Nothing much was on the Black 2 save file, but I was surprised to find out that the original owner of the copy of Pokemon X had a Volcanion and Genesect in their PC.
