I live in San Diego and have been camping all over Anza Borrego State Park. I enjoy your content and style and plan on adding similar videos to my channel in the future. In the process of finding the right truck to start my build. Probably going to grab a first gen Tundra since they're powerful enough and still small enough to get to most places I need to go. Keep up the great work! Geoff

George, congratulations on your new baby and best wishes that all goes well. Love your videos for a number of reasons, I like the video quality, your respectfulness to your friends step-father, allowing him to sleep in your new roof top, your rig and your cooking style and choice of food. I was surprised that little BBQ worked so well and the meat looked delicious. We don't live that far from Downey and I checked out "El Cortez" meat market on line and we are going to go there and get some of that meat. What cut of meat did you BBQ and had El Cortez marinated the meat prior to you buying it. It's always interesting looking at other off roaders gear/rig as you can pick up ideas for your own out fit. If you haven't already gone through Split Mtn to Fish Creek Canyon to McKean Springs that's a nice scenic route as well. Thanks again for a great video and I always go with 9 just in case. Happy trails

That new set up is clean…since you access the tent from the outside, have you looked into the FrontRunner bed slide? I have it on my Tacoma with a Diamondback cover and it makes it so much easier to organize and reach gear located further in the bed without having to reach or climb on the tailgate.

With the Pro water tank from Frontrunner. Are you worried about breaking the plastic nozzle when in transport?

The pro water tanks nozzle is brass. I would probably add Teflon tape to ensure it doesn’t leak. Other than that it’s solid, no leaks so far.

The slot canyon is no where near 450 million years old.... SOME of the rocks found in the state park were formed 450 million years ago. The slot canyon formed in fairly recent times. It's beautiful though.. Just a do a little more research on your title. :)
@thomasdavis97093 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this guy needs to take a closer read of his geologic info. Canyon is geologic young, probably less than million years. Plus its unlikely any of the rock are 450 million years old. Some good video and music though.
