Great trip. I remember my trip to the prison. Lots to see and think about. It would have been a rough place to call "home". BUT, that was the point back then. My son in law was a guard at Florence, certainly not the same type of experience for convicts today...

I need to revisit the Yuma prison. It's been at least 20 years & I had forgotten a lot. BTW, a short format is always welcome. Thanks, Scotty.

Enjoyed your video today and many in the past. Prisons should be like this today! I bet there would be ALOT less crime, 🤔!!

I went to Yuma a long time ago in the Summer, 95 at 11:00pm, that's hot!

That place had to be hell, even for the guards.

I visited the prison in 1961when we temporarily stationed at the marine base there. It was in pretty shape at that time if I remember right but it was very interesting.

Didn’t you watch the video at the prison? The legislature didn’t think Yuma was where it should build the prison instead they wanted it in phoenix. They retired for lunch and the representative from Yuma penciled in Yuma. When they came back, they approved it without reviewing it.
