Two weeks each would be a good length of time so you can develop scarcity for materieals that only appear during specific seasons. I hope they keep it very dark so having a crafted or looted light source is needed.

If you are in a dungeon and the local node upgrades, what happens to the player when the dungeos changes too?

Great question. I believe the Creative Director Steven Sharif basically doesn't want another variable to account for when designing the world and the Naval combat. My guess is it is most likely related to the naval aspect. This is all my speculation, but I will actually bring this question up in the next Feedback livestream!

It makes the world smaller. Look at the map. If you were on the far right of the map and wanted to go to the far left, with the current system you have a hell of a long way to go, if you can circle the world, the far left connects wif the far right so you would be right next door.
