Richard, you are hanging in my old stomping grounds. I was diagnosed with MS in Atlanta at the Shepherd Center in 2003. I dined “back in the day” at RJ’S. It is amazing how much has changed and good to see some things are still the same. Great VID!

Best big city for wheelchair users is Chicago . The sidewalks are kept clean (no gum to run over) , parking is free at all museums (parking underground) . Every sidewalk have ramps . It was the most amazing large city to visit for me .

I wish I knew about those wings back when I did my therapy at the shepherd center in 2017! My wife and I would use day passes to push to chick fi la and Ted’s Montana Grill, which is now one of our favorite restaurants. I also am in debt to the shepherd center. So many good and sometimes painful memories of that place, but I wouldn’t be as independent as I am now with out their help. Another great video, bro!

I love how much shepherd teaches independence for us. A lot aren’t as lucky. If you ever find your self around again be sure to go get some wings!

pretty interesting over there. when you live in an old town like me, the accessibility is pretty bad in certain areas, but obstacles is what we wheelchair users have to deal with, right... and you're right, rain and pushing rims is the worst...

Hey Richard, your advice became handy just a few months after this comment. My girlfriend and I tested out to hold hands - unfortunately it didn't work for us as my assistive drive kept pushing me in wrong directions all the time. On the other hand we discovered so many other stuff we can do together now like enjoying holidays :) I just watched your video about your frustation about your urologist. I just won some stupid complaints against my health insurance so I totally get you (although the situation in Germany seems to be much better in this regard). Hope you're safe and well!
