Iraq is doing extremely well now 😊 The economy is doing very good the poverty rate went from 40% to just 15% in 2 years Now its extremely safe even safer than the us Iraq went from the 121th place for the safest country in the world in 2022 to the 66th place this year ❤ And their is crazy amounts of constructions every where Bridges, hospitals, air ports , ports , streets , skyscrapers, malls , hypermarkets , thousands and thousands of modren schools and universities , new entire mega cities , libraries and every thing it looks entirely different than 2 years ago Its unbelievable fr The current government is extremely good and doing very well Hope you can visit it soon ❤

@@lordmasterization He really wants us to say the Jews but we know that's not true, there are "white" Jews in high places in America some do own media outlets like news stations but ultimately it's the content the news channels wish to provide based on propaganda. If America is invading a country, they will throw all the news on that country to make them sound like demons so it sits easier in the hearts of Americans whilst they sit and watch the news with their TV dinners, not realizing your overpowered machinery is murdering the lives of other families. Terrorism is a HUGE problem in the Middle East no doubt, but look at the damage the terrorists have done to the LOCAL people, never mind America or the rest of the world. Why do Iraqi's need a foreign invasion and more harassment? We all want terrorism to be removed from all forms of society we can all universally agree to that. So lets work together people.

Yes Many people oppose America it's true but they only judge them from their policies toward their countries they don't really hate people who want to learn about them and are kind towards them. I would like to invite you to visit Iraq and get to know the people of Iraq. I hope you visit Iraq during Arbaeen Pilgrimage and see the hospitality of Iraqis towards everyone. I'm sure you won't regret and you would also get to know more about Real People on Ground and The Truth of Islam during your journey and learn more about Prophet Mohammad and his Successor Hazrat Ali. No matter who you are everyone is welcome to visit the Holy Shrines of Imams of Islam and learn about History and culture of the Local People.

A rare thing these days. Coach and bring out her personality.. Then you guys create a channel and go live. Im there! I'm from the UK and have to say I would love to see Iraq! Man, the Iraqi people seem like such lovely people! As a westerner I just wouldn't yet feel safe enough to visit, not because of the lovely people in this video of course!! Your videos are great Doug and I love how they show that still, deep down, we are all just human beings and these wars and conflicts do not make us all enemies. Most people do not feel this way!! Much respect to you and much love to the Iraqi people!!!

Would be something totally out of my comfort zone truth be told but if you're still doing group trips to various places in 2025 then financially I could be in a position to sign up!! Can I pay extra for my own room, I have bad sleep apnea and use a cpap machine etc. That or can you pair me with someone very hard of hearing?! 😁👍

@@serenityj3222 Soldiers who slaughtered our people are part of the American people, same goes for those who voted for Bush and most of the adult Americans who wanted war with us in 2003. They killed millions and made our country 100 times worse. It is thanks to them Saddam became a saint in the eyes of many Iraqis, because they introduced us to these scum who now rule from Baghdad. All this is thanks to the American people, those who signed up for the armed forces, those who cheered, those who sent their sons to war, those who benefitted from our suffering and you still want to make excuses for them? Sure there are Americans who were against the war, but at the time most weren't. Our biggest mistake as a people is that we quickly forgive those undeserving of our forgiveness. America should never be forgiven for what it has done. Remember that

I've literally spent this entire Saturday evening watching all your videos about Iraq, from Basra in the south to the Marshes, Karbala, Bagdad, Samarra, Erbil, and all the way to Mosul in the north. You brought a big smile to my face many times, especially when you were invited to lunch by this sweet family in Samarra. Your guides did a great job and Safa was so sweet showing you the nice and family-friendly atmosphere of Bagdad at night. I myself am Iraqi, left the country as a 10 years old kid during the gulf war. Been living for nearly 30 years in Sweden + Norway and visited Iraq twice during those 30 years and I must say that you are an incredible content creator. You captured and brought forward the true essence of Iraq and its generous people in your videos. Iraqis should be the synonym word for hospitality and generosity. I think that you handled yourself perfectly in your interaction with all the different people no matter their age and there was no one single awkward moment in your videos. You are such a sport and a true gentleman! Kudos to you. Wish you good luck with your future journeys and stay safe!

I was stationed there in 2008 in the US Army. Military police company. We weren't the guys kicking in doors and stuff. We patrolled the streets and trained the Iraqi police. It looks SO different now compared to then. I'm so happy that it is returning to prosperity!

As an American I am glad to see that good things are happening in Iraq and wish nothing but peace and prosperity for its people. The people there have been through so much. The home of ancient Sumerians and cradle of civilization. They’ve had to deal with the Assyrians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, Saddam, and George W Bush(I never voted for him). They deserve to have peace and prosperity.

Iraq was always beautiful btw... In the 70s Iraq was so advanced compared to the rest of the region.. If only it wasn't for the US invasion and its consequences..
@dlewis8405
@dlewis8405 3 жыл бұрын
@@Yasmin-jt1ux Iraq was certainly ahead of the other countries in the ME in the 1970s but is a bit simplistic to attribute its current situation to the 2003 war with the US. As Doug discusses in the video there was the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s - disastrous for both countries. Then the Kuwait invasion, sanctions in the 1990s. Then 2003 and all the consequences that followed. Meanwhile countries like UAE and Saudi Arabia peacefully developed with steady funds from the sale of oil and gas. Iraq has to play catch up quickly because petroleum will decline in value as a resource in the coming years.
