You gave me a perspective that Bangkok is a new beginning for me to grow and live comfortable in my means. Thnx

Bangkok is safe for solo female travelers. There is no racism and everyone is welcoming. Thai people will treat you with respect as long as you treat them with respect. Unfortunately, certain foreigners such as Indian tourists are not well-liked by Thais because they misbehave in public and are rude to Thai locals.

Lumphini Park was the private property of King Rama VI but In 1925 the king donated the land to the nation to be used as a fair ground then later turned into a park. At the time the location was on the outskirts of the city. The park is named after the birthplace of the Lord Buddha. In addition the park is connected to another public park, Benchakitti Park, in Khlong Toei District, by means of a 1.3 km elevated pedestrian walkway and bicycle lane called the "Green Mile". It's comung up to the 100th anniversary of the park so the BMA is doing extensive upgrading/renovation work within the park.

Isaiah! Beautiful footage, (also the drone shots with choice of music also excellent!). I have a curious question. I do not recall from your videos to ever see people with pets, specifically walking their dogs. Any insights to that?
@singhal3eel27917 күн бұрын
Lumpini Park and most parks in Bangkok do not allow dogs to be walked in the park. In one corner of Benjakitti Park, there is a zone called Dog Park for walking pets. Similarly, Rot-fai Park (next to Chatuchak Park) has a designated zone for walking dogs.

If you’d like to hang out with Thai guys, a great place to start is a futsal court or a basketball court at the public park. Just walk up and ask, 'Len duay dai mai, krub?' (Can I join you?). Trust me, that simple question can spark a magical moment. Most Thai guys have played basketball or football during their school years, so they’re usually up for a game. Personally, I play football at Rod Fai Park near Jatujak Market. Feel free to join us sometime on a Saturday evening. 😊

I’ve always planned on moving to Asia from Florida. I was mainly thinking Japan, but now I’ve settled on Thailand. Probably Bangkok at first and then Chiang Mai. Definitely doing it once I pay some stuff off. I get $1760 per month from the VA and it should be exempt from Thailand taxes. I think that would be plenty to live comfortably on. Bringing my Min Pin with me which will be a process, but definitely worth it. Can’t live without that little guy.

The out door fitness areas are free? Also when I come for my first visit. If I stay for 2 weeks is that enough to get a good feel for Thailand, if the person has been researching it extensively for over a year? I'm 57yrs old and I'm planning on retiring there in about maybe 3-4yrs, maybe sooner then that. It will me more then just one time before I finally retire there. I want to live in either YinYom beach or Jomtien. Great video Nephew👏🏾👊🏾👏🏾

Foreigners can easily apply for a Thai driving license. No need to take a written test or a driving test. Just sit in a 2-hour training session. Just prepare the following documents: 1. Original passport + copy 2. Certificate of residence in Thailand, such as a hotel or house 3. Medical certificate 4. Original driver's license + copy with Thai translation 5. The fee for cars is 300 baht and for motorcycles is 600 baht. Location: Department of Land Transport, Phahon Yothin Road, Chom Phon, Chatuchak District, Bangkok
