Sudbrook pumping station is there to keep the water out of the severn railway tunnel, the small village of Sudbrook was built to accommodate the workers who were building and maintaining the tunnels. The pumping house was originally powered by coal and steam (hence the railway tracks down Sudbrook Road, it is still in operation to this day only powered by Diesel instead. The managers house is still there to this day located on the corner of Crick Road.

Thank you Sarah, the views are amazing up there. Would love to have an explore at night, that would be awesome. Thing is we always go late afternoon to catch it quiet but we always miss all the good things, old fashioned shops and museums which is super important if I'm there to learn about the place haha

The old church is ancient and all of that ground was a fort for king Harold of Wales it was part of his hunting ground if u research on Google you can find all the info about it 🎉 great vlogg🎉
