EXPLORING BUR DUBAI | ARABIAN FOOD | SHIVA & KRISHNA TEMPLE | TANDOORI CHAI | WHAT to do in DUBAI

Dubai is known for its tallest buildings, huge malls, and one-of-a-kind attractions, but there is another side of Dubai. This is Bur Dubai, an older, more traditional side of Dubai. During the day, these sleepy streets are pretty empty, but they come alive at night! Oh, the lights, people, and smells of India and Pakistan are something to not miss! In this episode, we fill ourselves with delicious Arabian foods such as Noor, Hummus, and falafels. Then, we wind our way through the back alleys to visit and pay respect to the Shiva Temple (a Hindu Temple on the main level and a Sikh Temple above it). We wrap up the video with our new friends from Kerala (India) serving the Best Tandoori Chai and mango lassis. If you have not explored Bur Dubai, add it to your list! We are back in Dubai, United Arab Emirates! If you have been following us, you know we moved out of Dubai during the beginning of the pandemic back in June 2020. We didn’t get to do many of the things on our Dubai bucket list since everything was shut down. So, we decided to head back to Dubai and enjoy a handful of the things on our list: Expo 2020, Eye of Dubai (world’s largest ferris wheel), Ski Dubai (skiing in a mall), Dubai Frame, and the Aqua Adventure Waterpark (Atlantis Hotel)!
