At 1:56 I don't wish to sound picky or snarky but, Prince Edward Island is a province itself and not in Nova Scotia. Also, if you are in muddy rather than sandy waters, you should check your toes for leeches after you get out.

I watched some of your videos, they are very entertaining, especially the ones in Quebec and the one in Taiwan. I love both parts of the world, I,ve been in Taiwan 8 times and every time I love it more. I feel that Ottawa has a lot of similarities with Vienna, small cultural hubs. By the way you look like an international French Canadian artist. Her name is Veronic Dicaire, she is a imitator, she was discovered by Celine Dion, she had a show in Vegas and she is well known in French speaking countries as well as in the US, she did a world tour, she even went to Taipei. You have the same type of humour and energy. If you are curious just go on KZbin, she does Avery impressive Whitney Houston to say the least. Thank’s for you videos! Cheers

Oh thanks for the recommendation! I hadn’t heard of her but I looked her up and I do actually see the resemblance a wee bit! 😂 I think I do have a soft spot for smaller, charming cities as I love Vienna and Ottawa also fell into that category.

Ottawa similar to Vienna????

@@emiriebois2428 Not at all I would say! Vienna is really very individual but does resemble Budapest and Prague architecturally in some ways.

Just stumbled upon this channel. Its nice seeing people from abroad enjoying Canada 😊Its really cool that you took a few days on Lac Nominingue. I am very familiar with it as my family and I go camping there almost every year. Its also close to Mont Tremblant which is a really nice tourist area, especially in the fall when you can see all the leaves changing colour. Glad you loved Ottawa, I've lived here my whole life. Tim Hortons is fun to go to once if youre visiting but it hasn't been great in at least 10 years. I personally go for Timbits and/or an Iced Capp if I go. Good luck with the rest of your travels.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and it's so nice to feel connected knowing that you have also been to Lac Nominingue! We wish we'd spent more time there, it was such a haven even though it rained and rained, but that just made it all the more atmospheric and beautiful. We will definitely go back ❤

Ooo. To compare a Quebec lake to Anne of Green Gables and in the same breath say Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia, count yourself lucky that us Islanders are such a gentle sort. Even so, such a slight deserves at least a stern look! 🤨 Ok. We're good. Carry on.

Glad you had a good time in Ottawa. Yeah, Tim Hortons is nothing special. It was better when I was a kid in the 90s when the donuts were baked in store. It's just a big fast food chain with mediocre food and coffee at this point. Also it's Hog's Back falls, not Hog's Head ;) I miss Montreal, haven't visited in a few years. Beautiful city.

Just came upon your videos yesterday. LOVE your spunkyness and good humour. It's contagious, I'm sure... Nice people are always fun to watch... Hubby is also a good stringer, and you obviously love each other which is ALSO nice to see. About Shwartz... Smoked meat is NOT for everyone, and I noticed that you are the healthy eater type, so it was NOT meant to be. BUT, for a greasy meat eater, when comparing that type of sandwich with other places, and the NYC pastrami, it IS excellent. And you are right about the quality. That meat is steamed and smoked RIGHT THERE in that kitchen. BTW: P.E.I. is its own Province, NOT just part of Nova Scotia... It's just WAY smaller than any other province. An honest mistake, even made by some Canadians, no worries... Cape Breton though IS part of N.S. Next time you come to Quebec, go visit the Lac St-Jean region, which is a beautiful farm and lumber region with a zoo in St-Felicien, an Abbaye with monks making chocolate-covered blueberries, an international distance swim competition in late July, and the best fishing and hunting around. The Saguenay Fjord, where Cousteau did a whole show on its interior saltwater sea, UNDER the freshwater top layer, is a special place, where there supposedly was a village with European settlers long before Columbus and Cabot, the locals call it the KINGDOM of Saguenay... With a recurring live musical about it. Cheers... Have fun in your travels and enjoy life...

Wow thanks for the lovely reply! I feel rather embarrassed for making such a mistake with P.E.I. ( I normally check these things!) but thank you for the correction! I did actually bring home some chocolate covered blueberries but I'm not sure they are the ones made by the monks; they were nevertheless scrummy! Take care!
